Teaching ballroom dancing: Tango, Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha,...etc.
Come one come all to “Dance with Me!” We are a community of dance enthusiasts that enjoy getting together on Wednesday nights, at 7:00 pm, at the Elk's Lodge at 658 Elk's Parkway overlooking beautiful Lake Martin in Alexander City, AL. Food and beverages are available and you are welcome to enjoy them throughout the evening! A dance lesson, for all levels (but mostly geared toward beginners), starts about 7:15 pm and lasts until around 8:30 pm or so. The lessons are $7.00 per person and encompass most ballroom dances from swing to tango with a few Virginia reels and others for good measure!

These days, people love to watch other people dance. Competitive dance shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars are dominating the world of reality television. What you may not realize, however, is that if you get off the couch and dance yourself, it’s a great way to keep your body and mind healthy. Studies show that dancing can help you lose weight, stay flexible, reduce stress, make friends, and more.
