Winter Session I starts TOMORROW, Wednesday, November 6th. The AAHS team practices and competes at LAG during their season, so there will be extra activity in the gym this session. Here are a few reminders to help things run smoothly:
•Make sure both you and your gymnast know which class they are in (not just the time).
•Please have gymnast come with hair pulled back and no jewelry or gum.
•Gymnast should wear leotard or tight fitting shirt and shorts – please no sports bras.
•Please plan on having your child on time to class and pick them up on time at the conclusion of class. Please do not drop your child off more than 15 minutes prior to the start of their class. Parents please bring your child in to the lobby and make sure everything is set before you leave.
•Please make sure your child knows your phone number and your name.
•We are starting to see more sniffles and runny noses. If you have not already done so this school year, we ask each family to bring a box of Kleenex to their child’s first class. These can be left behind the front desk or given directly to your gymnast’s coach. Please use your best judgement in sending your child if they are showing symptoms of cold and flu.
•In preparation for our first winter weather event, please review our winter weather policy:
If School District 206 cancels classes for the day, or lets school out early due to inclement weather, LAG will not hold classes that day.
This is for the safety of our gymnasts and our coaching staff and will make it easier for families to know what to expect. All closing information will be posted on our page and will also be sent to KXRA radio.
Classes will not be rescheduled. If we need to cancel more than one class per session due to poor weather, an open gym pass will be issued to you for the missed class(es).
Please know that your gymnast's safety is our top concern and that all decisions are made with this in mind. If classes are held and you are concerned about the weather conditions, please use your own judgment as to what is best for your family.
We look forward to coaching your gymnast this session!
Best of luck to our JO Level 3 and 4 gymnasts as they compete at the Classic Fall Spectacular meet today!
