The night before a tournament is like Christmas Eve: I can't sleep and I hope I've done enough to put us on the good list.

Spring 2026 Allen Sports Association All Star Game. Velocity All Stars: Emma, Gwynn, McKynzie, Jacqueline, & Kendall. Close game for most of the night, Velocity players accounted for 50% of our team's runs and made 5 outs on defense.

Round 1 vs the Shock. Let's go!!!

3 Days. 10 Games. 7 Victories. 51 runs, 42 RBIs, 60 hits, 17 extra base hits. Velocity brought home Finalist Rings in the 2026 Allen Sports Association Softball Swing into Spring Tournament. We fell into the consolation bracket in game three, and battled our way back to the championship game for the second year in a row. In the process we won more games than any other team in the tournament, and double almost all other teams.

At the end of Sunday, we shut down the champs of the winner's bracket in the first game and forced an IF, but could not keep up our momentum in the second game.

We competed against better teams than in any other tournament and elevated every day, beating league rivals and league leaders from all over North DFW. Velocity players showed grit and heart all weekend long. I could not be more proud of them.

Pool games are set, the bracket is ready to go. It's full speed ahead for NTX Velocity at Allen Sports Association's Swing into Spring tournament this weekend.

Right out of the the gate we will be challenged: the two titans of 12U, Bananas and Velocity, will meet at 11:30 Saturday morning. We are rested and ready to elevate.
