Powerful energy 🌟
To witness our students becoming teachers is an honor and a privilege.
Because this is not just about becoming a teacher. It’s about building our courage, increasing our strengths, owning our power. It’s about finding our voice and being true to ourselves. Then we get to pay it forward.
While challenges and pain will always be part of our existence, we get to teach students to stay open, no matter what happens. When you stay open, no matter what happens, you get love, enthusiasm, excitement, and energy!

As we welcome the new year, it’s the perfect time to ask: What do I want to cultivate? Perhaps you’re curious about interoception-the ability to interpret what is happening inside your body. You can think of it as your body’s “inner listening system”.

A New Chapter for The YTT Collective
Big news, friends! 📣
After 11 beautiful years of leading our 5-star Yoga Teacher Training, I am deeply honored to pass the torch to someone extraordinary.
In 2014, during my very first training, one student stood out—her presence was radiant, her practice embodied grace, strength, compassion, humility, and wisdom. That student is Ginny Washburne.
It is with joy and excitement that I announce Ginny will now step into leadership (and ownership) of the YTT Collective. She will bring her own unique style, while carrying forward the qualities, values, and standard of excellence that have always defined our training.
Please help me celebrate and welcome Ginny Washburne as she leads the next generation of yoga teachers!
A Note from Ginny
I had the privilege of meeting Kim in the summer of 2014 after seeing an ad in a local magazine for her YTT program. My husband and I had just moved from Chicago to Atlanta with our three young sons, and I was searching for a fresh start after stepping away from full-time work.
I signed up for her yoga teacher training program and was immediately struck by her deep knowledge, peaceful presence, and generous spirit. I learned not only how to teach yoga, but also how to regulate my nervous system, breathe better, and feel more at home in my own body.
Over the past eleven years, Kim has become both a mentor and a dear friend, profoundly shaping my personal practice and professional path. I’ve had the privilege of teaching in Atlanta and Orange County, CA, alongside some truly incredible instructors.
My teaching continues to evolve and grow as a lifelong student of this beautiful practice.
Today, I am deeply honored and humbled to share that I will be continuing the program she created—a program I believe in wholeheartedly and have witnessed transform the lives of so many, including my own.
With immense gratitude, I look forward to leading the YTT Collective, and carrying forward Kim’s legacy of connection, community, and growth.

🌿 In yoga, the true magic often happens in the spaces of stillness and breath.
