Atlanta Open Tennis Championships - A NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tournament Proficient wheelchair users can play and actively compete against stand-up players.
Wheelchair tennis is one of the fastest growing and most challenging of all wheelchair sports. Rules are the same as stand-up tennis, except the wheelchair player is allowed two bounces of the ball. Wheelchair tennis provides persons with disabilities the opportunity to share in activities with their peers and family, whether able-bodied or disabled. Atlanta Open starts tomorrow! Player sign in is today from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. If you are traveling, please call to sign in. Draw will be posted at 5:00 p.m. today. Matches begin tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. It's going to be a great week of tennis! Can't wait to see all our new & returning players!
