I am so into body monitoring!!! That is why I started with Fitbit. In the last several months my Sense has been acting up and not keeping true to my heart monitoring. Fitbit said it was my band not tight enough. Though it has been this way for years. The Sense finally died. I am now with Descent MK2i and WOW!!! I am still learning how to use the smart watch it it has more data that I am figuring out. More to come…. You will see some post later as I learn more. This thing nailed the heart rate!!!

New calibration ride!!! Heart rate zones went up by 5-6 beats. Getting in shape is paying off. Sleeping heart rate at night has gone down from 60bpm to 55bpm.
What is your average at night?
Drinking water throughout the day is critical for your body to function properly. The Yeti tumbler is the large and it holds about 30oz. I count it as 3 cups. You can take any cup/tumbler/shaker and measure it and use it through the day. Understand this count is without anything added. No tea or coffee is counted. There are some articles you can google search on your intake. Another article states drinking cold water actually makes your body work a little harder because of the warming it does while processing it. So drink up!!! You can start her on your journey to becoming fit. It is all part of the process or circle of life!!! I love Lion King!!!

Nancy and I are starting our vacation. Heading to Fort Davis for a 6 mile hike. This is our lunch and snacks for the trail. More to come on beautiful views!!!

This invention is awesome. These little guys keeps the AirPod Pro in place perfectly. Every time I work the AirPods would fall out at some point. I ordered these off of an Instagram ad and damn these are the best. Game Changer!!!

So I have started a new supplement for pre and post workouts. First taste great, but what I am seeing is the adrenaline rush that I am getting. Feels great and I did do more weight and reps. Another edge to push yourself. Post workout is great in I am sore next day or two@but not crazy pain. I do feel this post supplement helps with recovery. So there are many supplements out there, I am giving my opinion on what I use. So if you want to know more please DM.
In all honesty, my joints especially my shoulders feel so much better taking this liquid collagen. I tablespoon in the morning and one at night. I will never take anything else. It works. Just to help, if you want to talk DM me. I will give you more info on this.

Hey everyone, I have something exciting to share!
You may have noticed I’ve been quiet lately, and that’s because I’ve been focused on doing research for myself and my own personal well being. Those that know me know I won’t share it unless I believe in it.
Well let me tell you…what has happened for me has been AWESOME! 😎
I have had my right shoulder replaced twice now, and my left shoulder is bone on bone. Working out helps keep my shoulder in great shape, but I continued to suffer from my joints aching when I was sleeping. Can anyone relate? 🙋🏻♂️
For the past 6 weeks I have been using a patented liquid collagen. FOUR weeks into using this, I noticed my shoulders were not aching! For the remaining 2 weeks I slept great and had a HUGE reduction in discomfort. I then took a week off for a true test, and my aches and discomfort are back. This is truly working for me!

I am going to start publishing little tips and thoughts to help everyone on their wellness journey. For those of you that do macros, you will hopefully find this interesting. Those that don't track macros, this is still important, because it affects portion control.
In MyFitnessPal (MFP), you are able to scan items to give you the macro nutrients in that product. So in the beginning you think that what it shows is what you get. Well guess what, NOT REALLY. I know what I am about to ask, is a new habit for some, but I really encourage to start weighing your food. Just do it a few times to start understanding what 4oz of something looks like. To give you some examples that will affect your overall intake, lets look at an Envy Apple. When you put this in your MFP, it shows one apple is 182g. So I cored mine and weighed it. The picture below shows the real truth (285g). That is 15.7g more carbs!!! It adds up. I did a russet potato, which the package says 5.3oz (26g of carbs), but when you weigh it not true. It is 8.2oz which is 39g of carbs. Net of 13g more. So when you are thinking you are eating the right amount, you need to verify. All of these in one day will add up quickly, so what you think your eating the right amount, your not. Good luck out there!!!!
