💜🤍📣 DAY 3 COMPLETE — THAT’S A WRAP ON CHEER CAMP! 📣🤍💜

Three days. 18 HOURS of cheer camp. And these girls FINISHED STRONG! 💪🏼🔥

After six hours Thursday, six hours Friday, and another six hours today, our MHS Cheerleaders are officially CAMP GRADUATES! 🎉 And they are walking away with SO much to bring to the sidelines this season!

✨ 3 new sideline dances
✨ 1 full routine
✨ An abundance of new stunting skills & techniques
✨ Stronger teamwork, confidence, and determination
✨ And memories we know they’ll carry with them all season long! 💜

Today was also extra special because our entire squad stepped up and tried out for UCA All-American! 🇺🇸📣 Putting yourself out there and trying out is something to be proud of all on its own — but we are SO excited to announce that FOUR of our girls were selected as ALL-AMERICAN CHEERLEADERS! 🌟

These girls now have the incredible opportunity to participate in an All-American experience and potentially travel overseas to represent Modoc High School while performing alongside other All-American cheerleaders! 🌎✈️📣 What an AMAZING accomplishment!

Keep an eye out over the upcoming months because these four girls will be doing their own fundraising, separate from MHS Cheer, to help make this opportunity possible. We hope our community will show them just as much love and support as they work toward this incredible experience! 💜🤍

And just like that… summer cheer is officially DONE. 🥹

Huge shoutout to Holiday Market for the AMAZING sandwiches for our lunch today! 🥪🙌 They were exactly what our girls needed to refuel for the rest of Day 3!

And an extra special THANK YOU to Gabby’s mom, Raven, for grabbing all of our lunch needs and dropping everything off right on time! 💜 Because of you, we were able to enjoy our FULL hour lunch break together as a team instead of having to rush around trying to find food.

✨💜 UCA Camp Day 2 Recap ➡️ On to Day 3! 🤍✨

Another amazing day at UCA Camp is in the books! Our Braves continue to work incredibly hard, challenge themselves, and grow stronger with every cheer, dance, jump, and stunt. Their determination and teamwork have been so fun to watch, and we’re beyond proud of each one of them! 🏹

A huge congratulations to today’s special recognitions:
💃 Yoyo Gomez earned the Dancing Diva ribbon for her outstanding performance, confidence, and energy on the dance floor!
⭐ Laura LeNeave received the Top Top ribbon for being a strong, determined, and dependable top girl in her stunt group. Her confidence in the air and commitment to her teammates truly stood out!
🤸‍♀️ Lily Noury won the Jump-Off with outstanding form and technique that was absolutely on point!

Today is Day 3, and the girls will put the finishing touches on the dance, cheer, and stunt sequence they’ve been learning and perfecting all week before performing it at this afternoon’s Parent Showcase. We can’t wait to see all of their hard work come together!

Today is also All-American Cheerleader Tryouts! This is an incredible opportunity for our athletes to showcase everything they’ve learned throughout camp. Those selected will earn the chance to travel across the United States—or even overseas—to perform alongside some of the very best cheerleaders from around the world.

Please join us in wishing our Braves the best of luck as they head into their final day of camp! We know they’re going to give it everything they’ve got, and we couldn’t be prouder of this amazing group. 💜🤍

📣 UCA Camp Day 1 ✔️ 🤍💜

What a great way to kick off UCA Camp!

Before camp officially began, our underclassmen got to experience our very first Big/Little Reveal—the first of many new traditions to come for Modoc Braves Cheer! 🤍💜 It was so special watching our upperclassmen welcome, encourage, and support their Littles as we begin building a stronger, more connected program. We can’t wait to see these friendships and mentorships grow throughout the season.

Once camp got underway, our cheerleaders hit the ground running with positive attitudes, determination, and tons of energy. 💪✨ The girls spent the day learning new material, sharpening their skills, building confidence, and growing together as a team.

We couldn’t be prouder of the effort every athlete put in today. This is only Day 1, and we already know this team has so much potential. We can’t wait to see what Day 2 has in store!

Wish these girls luck as they head back to camp tomorrow! Let’s go, Braves! 🤍💜

💜📣 Summer Recap: The Road to the 2026-2027 Season! 📣💜

What a summer it has been for the MHS Braves Cheerleaders!

We kicked things off at the end of May with tryouts and wasted no time jumping right into practices in June to prepare for an exciting 2026-2027 season.

One of our first events was a fun pizza night at Antonio’s Cucina Italiana. Our cheerleaders volunteered their time helping throughout the evening, and Stan “The Man” generously chose to donate 50% of the pizza sales back to our cheer program. We are incredibly thankful for his continued support of our team and our community!

We also spent an unforgettable weekend together building friendships and growing as a team before attending the Simpson University Cheer Clinic. Six of our eight cheerleaders participated in the one-day clinic, where they learned a new cheer, a sideline dance, sharpened their stunting skills, and received instruction from collegiate coaches.

We’re especially proud to recognize our seniors, Ella Battram and Yovanna “Yoyo” Gomez, who were personally invited by one of the Simpson coaches to discuss opportunities to continue cheering after high school. What an incredible accomplishment—we’re so proud of you both! 💜

Next came the Fourth of July, where our squad once again volunteered alongside Antonio’s, helping serve their famous rib plates and our crowd-favorite fair lemonade at the park. As always, the community showed up in a huge way—the line stretched around the corner! Following the event, Antonio’s generously gave a portion of the proceeds back to support our cheer program. Thank you to everyone who came out and to Antonio’s for their continued generosity and encouragement of our athletes.

After a well-deserved break in July, summer seemed to fly by, and before we knew it… camp week was here! 🎉

Today marks the beginning of another exciting chapter as we head into camp ready to learn, grow, work hard, and make memories together. We can’t wait to see what this week has in store for our team!

Be sure to follow along this season for behind-the-scenes moments, game day excitement, community events, and plenty of Braves spirit.

Because one thing is for sure…
