Don't fear fruit and honey! ππ―
Many people may fear fruit and honey because they contain fructoseβ¦
But there is a BIG difference in the way fructose affects human physiology when it is in whole foods vs in isolation.
In fact, studies show that fructose in fruit in significant quantities is NOT harmful to humans in any way. (PMID: 21621801)
In this study, they found that the group that ate fruit actually lost more weight than the group that didn't.
How cool is that?!
Though the zero-carb carnivore approach is beneficial for some people, we don't think it's required for good overall metabolic health. Without carbohydrates, you wonβt perform optimally long term. π
Overall, make well-raised meat and organs at the center of your diet, and add fruit, honey, and dairy for variety. π

As we move into a new year always try to set aside time for yourself to reset.
Over the course of a year we can get sidetracked by all sorts of things but stay focused.
Sometimes the goals you want to achieve take more than a year to accomplish, but you will succeed as long as you never give up.
Write things out that matter to you and check-in with your progress each week until itβs complete.
