Ours is a sport grounded in community.

When one of us is hurting, everyone else feels it, too. That's why, before we make any announcements or promotions regarding our upcoming races, we want to talk about helping our friends, families, neighbors, and loved ones who have been affected by the recent fires here on the plains.

Over the next two races, everyone in attendance will have the chance to participate in two separate 50/50 raffles, with all proceeds going to those affected by the wildfires. Our goal is to raise $10,000 for local families in need.

Tickets are $5 a piece and will be available for purchase at multiple locations around the race track throughout the night and during intermissions. Winners will be announced each night of racing.

We ask that you join us in lifting up those affected by these tragedies in our thoughts and prayers.

Race report: started the heat on the pole, track was super slick, we managed to hold onto third. That started us 13th in the main, and we were making some solid laps, battling back and forth for a few positions, car felt really good! And then it happened… the big one. We came out of turn four on a mission, and found a pile of cars stopped on the front stretch. But for the most part, the car is alright. We have a few things to fix, but it’s mostly body work! Thanks again to everybody who checked on me, I’m good. We will be back next weekend for Fan Appreciation Night!!! Thanks again to all of my sponsors for all you do. We are ready to race tomorrow night at Route 66 Motor Speedway for opening night!!! We will also be at the car show tomorrow at McWhorter’s Tire & Service from 10-2 so y’all come out and check out all the sweet rides. Races kick off at 7pm so don’t be late! 🏁🏁🏁

ANNOUNCEMENT:

Unfortunately, due to this weekend's weather forecast, we have decided to cancel our April 11 race night.

Our new opening night will be next Saturday, April 18, with the same classes.

***That means no USRA Stock Cars next weekend.*** However, we are in the process of finding a makeup date for that class on our current schedule, and an announcement on that date will be made soon.

The car show at Mcwhorter"s Tire and Service Amarillo has also been pushed back to next weekend, and will have the same hours and promotions attached to it, including 10 drivers' points awarded for attendance.
