Bridge Program Open! ⛸

Are you ready to take your skating skills to the next level? Registration is now open for the AFSC Bridge Program!

Please note that this program has a specific registration requirement: it is designed for skaters at levels Basic 6 through Free Skate 6. This "Advanced" session is the perfect transition for those looking to move beyond the standard Learn to Skate curriculum.

Classes are held on Fridays from 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM.

🗓 October - 2, 9, 16

Learn to Skate Starting Soon! ⛸

Our Learn to Skate USA classes are starting up this Wednesday!! Learn basic skating skills to begin your hockey or figure skating journey, or to learn a new skill you can use for fun and recreation the rest of your life.

Sign up for one or more sessions that fit your schedule. We offer classes on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

All classes are at the Ames/ISU Ice Arena, 1507 Gateway Hills Park Dr, Ames, IA.

Fall Kickoff! 🍁

We had our second fall kickoff meeting last night where we talked about all the things, including revealing this seasons show theme, Skate the Big Top! 🎪

We also encouraged everyone to participate in our Frozen 5K event to help the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation raise money for innovative cancer research. 💙

We are welcoming a number of new members this season and we are so excited to get started!

We have 10 people registered for the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer® event, and we have raised $1,715 so far, but we need to go a lot further.

Every donation to a participant’s fundraising goal makes a meaningful difference, supporting their efforts and fueling vital cancer research through the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation at NCI-accredited facilities across the nation.
