Reminder Rapids Bowling Center league bowlers tonight is your in-house qualifying squad for a chance to be on Beat The Champ for 1/2 price! If you are a current league bowler at Rapids Bowling Center, either summer league or winter league, bowl tonight with the top 3 from the squad making the show this Sunday!

For tonight's squad, this includes bowlers from the Pepsi Traveling League, if you bowled when the league was at Rapids last season, you can come to qualify tonight! Squad time is 6:30 PM, $25 entry fee, walk-in entry, bowling on the house shot tonight. If you bowl tonight, you can also still bowl the open qualifier on Saturday (which is non-house) with a chance to make the show there too!

League bowlers at Rapids Bowling Center this is for you! If you are a league bowler in either a summer OR winter league at Rapids, you have a special squad to bowl on TV on Beat The Champ! This Thursday night at 6:30 PM is a 3-game qualifying squad for the In-House Beat The Champ TV show this weekend. Because you are a league bowler, enter for just $25 with the top 3 bowlers making the TV show on Sunday at 6:30 PM. First place on all 4 shows this weekend (including this show) is $500 guaranteed! Bowlers, as many of you know, the bowling community recently lost longtime owner of Tonawanda Bowling Center and Rapids Bowling Center, Len Pimm. We wish to send thoughts to friends and family.

We have adjusted this weekend's event at Rapids Bowling Center, the schedule is as follows:
Friday Night Doubles Sweeper - 7 PM as scheduled
Saturday Qualifying Squads - 10 AM, 12 Noon, 2 PM as scheduled
Open Qualifier Finals Round - For bowlers advancing from the qualifying squads, this round which was scheduled for Saturday at 5 PM is moving to Sunday at 10 AM, immediately before the TV tapings
TV Tapings - 4 shows as scheduled, first show starts at 12:30 PM

No reservations required for any of the squads, however Friday night is 1 squad limited field.
