Thanks to our friends at the N. Sound Sea Kayaking Assoc. for an awesome weekend at Hobuck Beach for our intro to surf zone class! Great kayakers and great waves that exceeded the forecast, starting at 1.5 feet Saturday and gradually building to some 4 footers to end the day on Sunday. We enjoyed the laughs and successes, awesome rides and learnings all around. Check out our next class September 13th - 14th!

Second boot camp of the year in the year in the bag! I couldn’t be more thankful to the six amazing students who joined us these last five days at Deception Pass for learning, growth and some fantastic paddling! We still have spots in our last boot camp of the year, September 3rd - 7th!

We have two spots remaining in our Essentials of Coastal Kayaking III course this weekend! Come check out this two-day course on open water skills, rough water and trip planning at Bowman Bay.

We do trainings for all different types of organizations, including getting to spend a fun day on the Hood Canal training up the waterfront staff at the Girl Scouts . Thanks for having us out and introducing us to an awesome sea kayak program for kids!

Lake Superior is an awesome place to sea kayak! Pretty beaches, historic lighthouses, and wind! Lots and lots of wind! Thank you to the University of Minnesota Duluth (birthplace of Bob Dylan I did find out) and their truly amazing Associate Director of Outdoor Programs, Melody David-McKnight for having me come co-teach their L3 Coastal Kayaking ICW these last five days! Six amazing candidates brought humor and fun into an incredible learning experience. Thank you to all who attended for all you did, your growth and development.
