Did you know, that as we age, we lose bone density and are at more risk of fractures?

A common misconception is that you should stop strength training as you get older.

That is just not true โŒ

Strength training is exactly what we should be doing as we age, as it will build strength in the muscles and the bones to reduce the risk of falling and fractures.

Here are DNA Fitness Club, we offer our Forever Young sessions ๐Ÿ’ช These sessions are specifically catered for our Forever young (55+ older).

Each session is led by one of our coaches. They will watch over your form, offer modifications and encourage you ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Each session is led in a small group format ( max capacity of 10 per session) and are 45 minutes in length. We offer these sessions 3x a week ๐Ÿ’ฅ

โ“What happens when I miss a workout?๐Ÿค”

โœ…The answer: There are two important things to know. First, your body doesnโ€™t deteriorate overnight. So while this wonโ€™t completely derail your results โ€ฆ.

Missing a scheduled workout can ABSOLUTELY mess with your mindset and motivation.

One missed workout easily becomes two โ€ฆ which becomes three โ€ฆ and then before you know it, you feel like youโ€™re back at square one, starting over again!

You know the saying: โ€œItโ€™s easier to stay on the wagon than it is to climb back on.โ€ It definitely applies to fitness and any healthy habit.

๐Ÿ‘‰ Hereโ€™s how to stop 1-2 missed workouts from ruining your long-term motivation:

Figure out why you missed the workouts (including underlying reasons)
Set goals that actually matter to you (vs the ones you think you SHOULD be working toward)

Do not beat yourself up or overthink it. Just start moving again!
