Did you know, that as we age, we lose bone density and are at more risk of fractures?
A common misconception is that you should stop strength training as you get older.
That is just not true โ
Strength training is exactly what we should be doing as we age, as it will build strength in the muscles and the bones to reduce the risk of falling and fractures.
Here are DNA Fitness Club, we offer our Forever Young sessions ๐ช These sessions are specifically catered for our Forever young (55+ older).
Each session is led by one of our coaches. They will watch over your form, offer modifications and encourage you ๐ฅ
Each session is led in a small group format ( max capacity of 10 per session) and are 45 minutes in length. We offer these sessions 3x a week ๐ฅ

โWhat happens when I miss a workout?๐ค

The answer: There are two important things to know. First, your body doesnโt deteriorate overnight. So while this wonโt completely derail your results โฆ.
Missing a scheduled workout can ABSOLUTELY mess with your mindset and motivation.
One missed workout easily becomes two โฆ which becomes three โฆ and then before you know it, you feel like youโre back at square one, starting over again!
You know the saying: โItโs easier to stay on the wagon than it is to climb back on.โ It definitely applies to fitness and any healthy habit.
๐ Hereโs how to stop 1-2 missed workouts from ruining your long-term motivation:
Figure out why you missed the workouts (including underlying reasons)
Set goals that actually matter to you (vs the ones you think you SHOULD be working toward)
Do not beat yourself up or overthink it. Just start moving again!
