🏒 Coach Spotlight 🏒

We are thrilled to welcome back Toby Carlson to ImpAKt Hockey Camp for our oldest group of skaters this summer!

Toby was a huge hit with the players last year after he was a local fan favorite with the Anchorage Wolverines. Since then, he has continued his hockey career with the Waterloo Black Hawks and will be returning to Waterloo again next season.

We love bringing back coaches that connect so well with our athletes, and we know the kids are going to be excited to have Toby back on the ice again this summer! 💥🏒

We’re excited to welcome Alayna Breivogel to this year’s ImpAKt Camp, representing Elite Sports Performance! Alayna is doing the dryland coaching for our Wolverines & Nanooks!💪🏃🏃🏽‍♀️

Alayna grew up in Kenny Lake, Alaska, and started playing hockey at a young age. Her passion and drive took her to Gilmour Academy for her final two years of high school, where she dedicated herself to developing her game. She went on to play goalie for the Elmira College women’s hockey team and recently graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Now back in Anchorage, Alayna is diving headfirst into the world of youth hockey and athletic training—something she’s always been passionate about. We’re thrilled to have her knowledge, experience, and energy on the ice with us this week!

Drumroll, please… 🥁
We’ve kicked things up a notch for our oldest boys and girls groups at ImpAKt by bringing in none other than Tawnia Adams with her “next-level dryland training”!💪

Tawnia has been training elite athletes for decades and has earned an incredible reputation for pushing them to be their absolute best. Her sessions are detailed, intense, and yes… HARD.

Get ready for the burn — this week of dryland is going to be a game-changer!

🔥 Coach Spotlight! 🔥
We’re excited to welcome local favorite & role model, Toby Carlson to ImpAKt Camp this year! Toby will be coaching our 2012 boys and bringing his high-level experience and energy to the ice.

Toby played last season with the Anchorage Wolverines, after spending two seasons playing in Michigan. He’s now headed to Waterloo Blackhawks training camp this upcoming season — and we’re lucky to have him at ImpAKt before he goes!

Let’s go, Coach Carlson! 🏒💪

We’re excited to welcome goalie coach Raythan Robbins to ImpAKt Hockey Camp this summer! Raythan is heading into his junior year playing Division I hockey at Bemidji State University. Before college, he played junior hockey with the Anchorage Wolverines during their inaugural season, followed by a year with the Muskegon Lumberjacks in the USHL.

This is a fun, fast-paced camp for goalies, with individualized instruction and plenty of ice time! Each goalie receives:
• Five hours of focused goalie-specific coaching
• Small group training (2 goalies max per group)
• Dedicated goalie coach for the first session
• One-on-one instruction and lots of reps
• Game-situation scrimmage reps with player groups
• Full participation in dryland training

We’re currently looking for 1–2 goalies born in 2013 or 2014 and 1 goalie born in 2012 to join us! This is a great opportunity for young goalies to sharpen their skills, face a ton of shots, and train with one of the best.

Let us know if you have a goalie ready to take the next step in their development!

Exciting Opportunity with Coach Tim in BC!

One of the things I love most about Tim Preston is his commitment to player development—he’s always asking, "What more can I do for your player?" A few of our Alaska skaters have already taken advantage of training with him at his HPL program in Langley, and they’ve had incredible experiences playing for his teams and developing at his facility.
Last year, Tim spoke with parents about inviting Alaskan players to his facility for a small-group, high-intensity training week, and he has now put together a special training week during the first week of June!
✨ Why is this the perfect time?
✅ Alaska schools are out, but BC is still in session—so his ice is fully available during the day.
✅ Small group training – Tim’s focus is on individual development, and this week will be an intensive deep dive into all aspects of a player’s skill set, both on and off the ice.
✅ Easy & affordable travel – Flights to Seattle are simple, and the exchange rate is in our favor right now. Plus, Vancouver is a great city to explore during your stay!
I highly recommend this for anyone looking to give their player a huge development boost this summer. We need 8 players per group, so if you're interested, please take a look at the brochure and let me know if you have any questions.
