Who is ready for winter?
Trail Report, Saturday Dec 28, 11 am. Raspberry Rd, Kinkaid Multiuse. 20 deg. Trail firm but enough snow to maintain control and be skijorable. Note: Trail conditions and cool temps should hold until Nationals begin Jan 2-7 when mulituse trail and Raspberry Rd parking lots will be used by spectators.
Trail Report: Saturday, Dec 14. 9:30 am. Hatcher's Pass Archangel Rd. 24 deg. Snowing hard enough to need eyewear. 4" fluffy snow atop last evening's groomed trail surface. Some skate and classic ski prints frozen solid and hidden under the fluff. Ski poles kept sticking in the trail base, but it sure is nice to have skiable snow and cooler temps!

Trail report. Saturday, Nov 16. 2 pm. 28 degrees. Light breeze. Tour of Anchorage Trail at Campbell Tract was fantastic. Freshly groomed as of 7 am. This is a group effort, so if you had a great skijor on the new snow in Anchorage and surrounding area (Looking at you, Archangel Rd, Hatcher Pass) please share in the comments. Multiuse Trail at Kinkaid Park Raspberry Rd has also recently been groomed. For folks who are new to the amazing trail grooming in Anchorage, the groomers post here at a arcgis web site when they have completed grooming ... the maps show both nordic only and multiuse trails. https://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=92e9fe7c91744131a13c916c9bec2151
