The league has issued another bye for the 5’s tournament in recognition of graduation week, so we’ll be picking up right where we left off.

This is one of my preseason favorites! With All-Conference and All-State accolades already under his belt, he continues to prove why he’s a dominating force at the tackle position. His ability to adapt against whoever lines up across from him makes him a defensive line coach’s nightmare heading into the upcoming season.

Today we highlight the Beast in the East, Jathniel Pati Feagiai. Keep an eye on this giant as he continues stacking accolades with his sights set on a state championship.

❄️Keeping the wheels rolling on the far east side of town, we’d like to shine some light on another rising star in the trenches… Bartlett High sophomore freight train, Nevaeha Faaofo.❄️

Nevaeha played a huge role in helping lead Bartlett to the State Championship Finals by making an impact on both sides of the ball. Whether he’s serving pancakes on offense or closing gaps and shutting things down on defense, this student-athlete brings physicality, effort, and intensity every snap.

What makes Nevaeha special is his motor and ability to make plays in the trenches. He continues to develop into a complete trench warrior and is only scratching the surface of what he can become. You can already tell he’s returning this upcoming season with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove. 💪😤💯

Expect this young man to be a dominating force in the trenches this fall. 👀🔥

❄️CURRENTLY ON A TOURNAMENT BYE WEEK❄️

We figured this would be the perfect time to bring you the 5on5 Mid-Tournament Season Highlights featuring our back-to-back tournament champions, Cold Front Athletics putting the work in the trenches. 💪😤

To kick things off, we start with none other than the 🏆BACK-TO-BACK🏆 Tournament MVP… Jairus Mua of Bartlett High School.

From dominant reps, relentless effort, and setting the tone every single tournament, Jairus has been an absolute problem for opposing squads all season long. His growth, physicality, and leadership have been a huge part of Cold Front Athletics’ success so far this year.

And there’s a reason why he was selected 2025 D1 1st Team All-Conference and 1st Team All-State. 💯🔥 The way he competes, finishes reps, and continues to elevate his game every tournament speaks for itself.

The work never stops.
The grind continues.
He’s only getting started… 👀❄️

❄️🏆 BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPS! 🏆❄️

Cold Front Athletics successfully defended their championship title in Week 2 of the Alaska Chosen 5on5 Tournament, continuing their dominance after a strong Week 1 showing in Colony.

Once again, Cold Front faced their toughest competition out of Fairbanks, the FBX Elite. Every tournament, they seem to keep leveling up, and this past weekend was no different. FBX Elite kept Cold Front on their toes all day with intense battles in the trenches and highly competitive reps from start to finish.

Week 2 also welcomed a new squad into the mix as Bartlett made its tournament debut. Although Bartlett was short on personnel, both FBX Elite and Cold Front Athletics stepped up by lending players to help fill roster spots and keep the competition rolling.

At the end of the day, it all worked out exactly how football should; every athlete from every squad got quality reps, valuable experience, and real opportunities to compete.

As the saying goes…

🔥 Iron Sharpens Iron 🔥

Huge shoutout to our Week 2 5on5 MVPs for their outstanding performances all tournament long:

🏆 Amaris Bounds
🏆 Jairus Mua
🏆 Noah Tumanuvao
🏆 Zedekiah Fanene

Keep grinding fellaz cuz the work is showing! 💪😤

After this tournament bye week, Cold Front Athletics will return in Week 3 looking to defend their crown once again as the road to the Alaska Chosen 5on5 title continues…

We may have walked away with the DUB, but first and foremost, huge shoutout to a tough Lathrop squad for saving the day! 💪😤

We came in prepared to face 2 teams, only to find out the host team was a no show. Not sure why, but we’re grateful Lathrop stepped in straight from a track meet and still gave us a run for our money.

It was all gas, no brakes from start to finish! 🏎️💨 A great opportunity for everyone involved to get plenty of reps, compete, and sharpen each other up. Like the saying goes: Iron sharpens iron ⚔️

We won some, we lost some, but most importantly, we gained knowledge on how to keep getting better. 🧠📈

Thank you to Coach Curry and the Lathrop trench warriors for the opportunity. Now we’re looking forward to next Saturday.

Anchorage… don’t let us be the only team reppin’! Get your squad signed up and come get this smoke! We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk. 🗣️👟

While some are serious about putting in work, others are still at home practicing their bench warming skills. 🤷‍♂️ I said what I said… 😎✌️

Pics & clips coming soon!
