This last weekend of the month of February we would like to send a very very special shoutout to a day1 OG. Almost a founder if you will. A man, we will refer to as "HIM": Mr. Everett E Williams II. There have been others since but he was truly one of the first of talented up and coming player to grace us with his presnce
Everett came out and support us where others didn't or couldn't and embraced helping out the fellas from waaaay up North. We will forever be thankful for his presence in our inaugural Open weekend, he was one of a few guys that gave us credibility in what we were trying to accomplish originating out the AK ;to find more talent like him that wanted and does perform on a different level in the game
Coach Carothers once said "This young fella is going to be one of the best to ever play. Coach Hearon said hes the most deadly left handed hitter to step to the plate. Guy who will hit 30 base hits in a row or hit it 500 feet. Not only has Everett made those statement ring true, He exceeded it.
HIM (Williams}, once a Baseball prodigy, not only embraced the sport of softball, he has evolved himself within the sport not only as a player but as true BRAND name.
A franchise cornerstone of THE INSTITUTION known as PACE, to briefly list a timeline of his accomplishments :
*Perennial BSC World Champion
*All USA Men's Future team (Border Battle)
*USA National team (Border Battle),
* USA Softball Supers National Champion
*USSSA Major Worlds Champion
* BSC Hall of Famer
*Countless all tournament awards, mvps, etc etc.
In upper level platform that has always been somewhat void of the talent from within the minority community, and he has been a consistent and constant shining star. As he is still just how truly entering his peak years we expect that he will rewrite the books in the game. Also a master on the grill, one day we hope to get him in the north to show the people what Texas grilling is all about!
A devoted Family man, mentor,instructor, and all around great dude who shows love anytime and anywhere we see him anywhere we salute this guy and pay him his respect !!
