Anchorage Guns N' Hoses

Thank you, Alaska.

Because of you, this was the largest Guns N Hoses crowd to date. The support, the energy, and the heart inside the Sullivan Arena were truly overwhelming in the best way possible.

With that incredible turnout, entry lines did take longer than anyone anticipated. We know that wait times were frustrating for many of you, and for some, it meant not being able to get inside as quickly as you hoped. For that, we are sincerely sorry.

To everyone who stood in line, showed patience, and came ready to support Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital, thank you. Your dedication to this cause does not go unnoticed. And to those who were unable to make it in due to the wait, we understand and deeply appreciate your willingness to show up and give back.

The final donation total is still being calculated, and we are excited to share those numbers. What we can already say is that this community showed up in a powerful way.

Our Guns N Hoses volunteers will be working closely with venue staff in preparation for the 2027 game to ensure a smoother, more streamlined entry experience. We are committed to learning, improving, and continuing to grow this event the right way.

PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: Joining Team Guns as a reinforcement is NHL Alumni Aris Brimanis! Aris was drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1991 and he played for the Flyers, Islanders, Ducks, and Blues during his time in the NHL. Aris played 19 professional seasons across the NHL, AHL, and Europe leagues.

After his career, Aris spent time coaching youth hockey here in Alaska and even coached some of the players on Team Hoses he will be playing against.

We can *BEAR-LY* contain ourselves! The main event is only days away.

This Sunday, Feb 22, at the 25th Annual Guns N' Hoses Game a 🧸Teddy Bear Toss🧸 snuck onto the program! What does that mean?
Well, after the first goal of the game— regardless of who puts the puck in the net— participating game attendees celebrate by tossing a teddy bear in need of a loving owner on to the ice. Those adorable teddys, once scooped up, will go to children undergoing treatment at Providence Children’s Hospital to provide them comfort during their road to recovery.

Please bring a *NEW* teddy bear (with a tag in) to toss on the ice… doesn’t have to be a Teddy bear, it can be any type of stuffed animal, but it must be new. Puck Drop is at 3:30pm! Don’t have a ticket yet? If you want to participate, you can get your tickets at the door or here:
