✨ Senior Spotlight 🌟 Next up is Lilian Monthei. Lilian joined speech as a senior and participated in Musical Theatre. Despite being plagued with illness this season her group still knocked it out of the park and earned a 1 at state contest! Lilian plans to double major in Musical Theatre and Exercise Science after graduating from AHS. Once a hawk, always a HAWK! Can't wait to see you SOAR onto your next stage Lilian!! 💚🦅🎭

She plans to attend University of Iowa and major in enterprise leadership while minoring in music. Once a hawk always a HAWK! We will miss you Kyra! 🎭💚🦅

Ankeny High School Speech!

"The speech program at Ankeny High School provides students the opportunity to develop confidence, critical thinking, and communication skills through competitive dramatic performance events. Students compete at district and state level IHSSA competitions in individual and large group contests in numerous performance categories. Funds donated will go towards helping the program pay for equipment, scrips, performance rights/royalties, and contest registration fees."

Our next ✨ is Jack Ponto! Jack has been involved with speech for 4 years. His favorite category is Musical theatre and his spirit animal is a beaver. Next year Jack will attend the University of Iowa pursuing a degree in social work. Once a Hawk always a Hawk! Best of luck on your next adventure, Jack! 🦅💚🎭

Our next senior is Eli Pattee! Eli has been involved in speech for 3 years. Their proudest accomplishment has been making it to state for two years in Readers Theatre. Eli will attend ISU pursuing a degree in Biology. Best of luck on your next adventure Eli! Keep SOARING! 🦅💚🎭

Our next senior is Evelyn Hernandez-Luna! Evelyn has participated in speech all 4 years of high school. Evelyn does an excellent job representing AHS both at speech contest as well as serving as a student representative on the Ankeny School Board! She plans to study political science and finance next year at ISU! We hope to see evelyn continue to SOAR beyond AHS! 🎭💚🦅

Our next senior is Zoe Hutchinson! Zoe has participated in speech since freshman year. She has made excellent contributions to our Readers Theatre & Improv teams!
