Our Board of Directors and staff had a very productive retreat last week. We reviewed all that's been accomplished in the short 2 years that we have been a nonprofit, and thought about all the possibilities the future holds.

We want to acknowledge the hard work of our volunteer board and staff members: (Left to right) Vince Cavataio, Penny Johnson, Kellie Carbone, Adam Bickersteth, Vanda Shadigian, Chrissy Barua, Ann Blakeslee, and Martha Gove!

We also want to thank Pam Smith and Bridget Herrmann, from PSMITH Collaborative, for their excellent facilitation and leadership of the retreat. You gave us direction and lots to think about.

The weather in Michigan has been unpredictable, so we improvised and brought our Grizzly Learning Camp activities indoors. Campers learned cooperative skills through shuffle-toss and sandwich relay drills in the gym last week.

Our Summer session is in full swing! Campers from the Ypsilanti Community Schools Grizzly Learning Camps were happy to receive new racquets at the end of their session!
