Last but certainly not least, we have our wine enthusiast, zelda fanatic, turtle lover, weather predictor, trident scholar, Mageezer! Michael Magee hails from Manlius, New York and joined the team his youngster year after training his vocal cords with Glee Club. While excelling in biking and running, his inner singer is still there. This would have been hard to believe until nationals when he sang the national anthem for us all. Aside from that, Mike’s academy career has also been very impressive. This past week, it was topped off by his recognition as a Trident Scholar! Upon commissioning Michael will serve as a Navy Pilot, enjoy that endless sunshine and best of luck in the sky!

Soleil Xie hails from Bellevue Washington, joining the team her second class year after transferring over from Navy Spirit. While she may have had a late start to triathlon, you would have no idea after seeing her triple podium finishes at nationals. Soleil served the team as our resident Fun Boss. No matter the day, hour or location if there was an activity to be done, she would ensure maximum fun was had. Despite suffering from serious laugh attacks, she excels in both triathlon and academics. Whether it’s velociraptor noises, or uncontrollable cackles, you will know when she’s coming down the hallway. Upon commissioning, Soleil will serve as a Marine Corps officer. Congratulations and best of luck!

To offer the class of ‘25 their final send off, the 5 members will each get a post to highlight their time on Navy Tri. Abby is from Los Angeles and joined the Triathlon team after a year of trucking people on the rugby field. Aside from Californiacation, Abby is also one of our beloved captains. What she lacks in the swim she more than makes up for in the run. When she’s not competing in Triathlon, she is out competing in Ultra marathons- why stop at 26.2 miles? After commissioning week, Abby will serve as a Marine Corps officer. Congratulations Abby! May your runs be fast, your swims be… well, let’s call them ‘works in progress,’ and your future as bright as your California sun!
