The Storm Trysail Club - Chesapeake Station

Chesapeake Bay Station is one of 9 local/regional stations of the Storm Trysail Club with a central office at the Larchmont Yacht Club.

The Chesapeake Bay Station is composed of members of the Storm Trysail Club residing in the Chesapeake Bay area. Most of our functions & events take place in and around Annapolis, MD.

2018 Junior Safety at Sea Seminar keynote speaker Astronaut Kay Hire connected the importance of practicing safety procedures in offshore sailing, Navy flying and flying in space aboard the shuttle. Kay graduated the Naval Academy in 1981 and was in the second class that had women. She was the first woman skipper of an academy offshore yacht.
