My grandleaders are teaching me that little eyes are always watching. ā¤ļø *Itās the pushups at the end of video for meš
As I was exercising today, my youngest grandleader began to mimic everything I was doing. In that moment, I realized even more deeply that itās my responsibility to show her a better way of life; not only through my words, but through my actions.
This season of life is stretching me, growing me, and improving me. Because what I do matters. What I say matters. The way I live matters.
They may think Iām teaching them⦠but truthfully, my grandleaders are teaching me too. š

I had a taste for something chocolate today, but instead of running to grab junk food, I looked at what I already had in the house and got intentional. A few simple ingredients⦠ripe bananas, oats, cocoa, peanuts, pumpkin seeds, and a little creativity turned into healthy chocolate banana cookies.
Your fitness and nutrition journey is not about perfection⦠itās about intentional choices. Sometimes the breakthrough starts with using what you already have and making a decision to nourish your body on purpose.
Healthy can still taste good. Start where you are. Use what you have. Stay committed to YOU. š

Happy FIT Friday šŖš¾
I was reflecting on a project Iāve been working on and realized something powerfulā¦
Every time I created a plan and stayed disciplined, I made progress.
But every time I stepped away from the plan, delayed, procrastinated, or stopped being consistent⦠it set me back.
Then one day you look up and realize six months, one year, two years⦠even ten years have passed, and the goal is still unfinished.
Fitness and nutrition work the same way.
The results are not hiding from you.
The breakthrough is not avoiding you.
Most times, we just stopped sticking to the plan.
Create a plan that works for YOUR life.
Stay committed to it.
Be disciplined enough to keep showing up, even when motivation leaves.
And whatever you do⦠donāt give up on YOU.
Small consistent steps still move you forward.
Stay with it.

Happy Winning Wednesday!
A few months ago on my walk, these trees caught my attention because they had been pruned down to almost nothing. They looked bare, stripped, and cut all the way back.
Today, I walked that same route and noticed something different. The leaves had returned. Growth had returned. Life had returned.
And instantly God reminded me that pruning was never punishment. It was preparation.
What looked empty in one season was still capable of producing in another season.
Sometimes God has to cut back whatās dead, unhealthy, or no longer aligned so new growth can happen.
The same trees. The same route. Just a different season.

Iām currently taking a class that teaches how the brain works when we read, study, and apply the Word of God⦠and it has been life-changing for me.
Iām seeing firsthand how the Word helps rewire the mindānot just spiritually, but mentally and practically.
Itās even shaping how I work with my clients, especially when weāre addressing the mental side of fitness and nutrition.
Renewing the mind is real⦠and it works
Out of town but still handling business.
I find a way to build my body wherever I go.
Free gym passes, new gyms, different citiesādoesnāt matter.
Discipline travels with me.
Flipping tires today because consistency doesnāt take vacations.
I move. I build. I show up. Every time. This use to be a confession but NOW itās my Reality šŖš¾

The other day on my outdoor cardio walk, these trees stopped me in my tracks.
Every branch had been cut back. Dead things removed. Overgrowth pruned. What remained looked bare⦠but intentional. It was well manicured.
And it immediately reminded me of John 15:2:
āHe cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit He prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.ā
Iāve walked through some uncomfortable seasons ā betrayal, loss, things being stripped away. It hurt. It was lonely at times. And I wonāt pretend it felt good while it was happening.
But just like these trees, what felt like loss was actually preparation.
Pruning doesnāt mean youāre finished.
It means God is making room for greater fruit.
After that season passed, it felt like a weight lifted. Everything became new. I realized God was working on me ā with me ā for me ā even when I felt alone.
If youāre in a pruning season right now, donāt fight it. Put your trust and focus on the promises of God!
New growth is coming. šššš
