The Johnson/Arriaga race team is ready for double duty tonight at Petaluma Speedway! Shawn will be in the 360 winged and spec wingless so you have two chances to cheer on the #32. The 2007 winged track champion will be knocking the dust off the winged car so it’s gonna be a fun night! Special thanks to Dave Johnson for always supplying what we need to have a good time!

Shawn Arriaga

The Arriaga/Johnson #32 team had a blast running our first Ultimate Sprint Car Series race at Petaluma Speedway last night, and back in a 360. After making some adjustments to the motor in the heat, Shawn went from 15th to 6th in the main in his usual hard-charging fashion.
But once again, and so important to us, is all the family and friends that we have so much fun with, and came out to help and support us! Dave Johnson, car owner, who is committed to giving Shawn the best equipment and dedication; Bert Lathrop, who is always a helping hand; Ryon Siverling, who was a huge help; and our newest member, Craig Williamson, who has jumped in, helped at the shop, and is an all-around fun guy. It was also great seeing Marc VanBrunt during his visit home and several other friends! While we are grateful for a safe night of racing we are definitely thinking about our friends DayDay Lindt, and Bill Cornwell. These great guys were injured last weekend while racing at Calistoga and we wish them a quick recovery.

We are back to our roots with the injected 360 tonight! Thanks to Dave Johnson for always giving Shawn what he needs to go fast. If you’re here cheer on the 32 and make sure you stop by the pits afterwards to say hello!
