Appleton North is excited to announce the hiring of our new Boys Basketball Coach, John Nonemacher (Non-ah-Maker). Coach Nonamacher joined the North teaching staff before the 2025-26 school year after serving as a teacher and Head Basketball Coach in Englewood, CO. Coach Nonemacher brings over 25+ years of basketball experience with him which includes time as a Varsity Head Coach, a collegiate scout, and analyst for the Portland Trailblazers. Congratulatons and best of luck Coach Nonemacher!

🏀 What an incredible turnout for Day 1 of our Basketball Skills Academy with Nicky Van Laanen!

A huge thank you to The Driveway - Hobart for making this opportunity possible and providing such an outstanding basketball trainer. Nicky brought tremendous energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm to the gym, and our athletes were eager to learn and improve.

The girls had a fantastic time developing their skills, building confidence, and competing with one another. The excitement was contagious, and they're already counting down the days until next week's session!

From June–September, ANGBC players in grades K–8 are challenged to take 10,000 shots this summer! The goal is simple: build great habits, improve shooting form, and get better through consistent work.

✅ Track your shots from June–September
✅ Record shots in the shared Google Sheet or paper calendar
✅ Earn bonus shots by attending North Team Camp or Syd Levy Academy
✅ Reach 10,000 shots and earn a t-shirt + recognition at Youth Night during a varsity game!

The Appleton North Girls Basketball Club (ANGBC) is currently seeking sponsors for the 2026–27 season!

ANGBC is a volunteer-based program dedicated to providing girls in grades K–8 with opportunities to learn basketball, build confidence, develop teamwork, and create lasting friendships. With the support of our community, we proudly serve more than 100 youth athletes each season.

Your sponsorship directly helps provide:
