Hey-o! It’s Erich.

First off, happy New Year!

Good news and bad news to share. Good news, Ariens’ trails are open for skiing. Bad news, I found out I tore the root of my meniscus and it sounds like I’ll likely be out for the ski season (and longer).

As for Fox Valley Nordic, I plan to put a hold on kicking it off until I’m able to ski/bike/run again. I’ll keep you posted on plans!

In the meantime, enjoy the skiing!

Hey, All! Erich here . . . quick skiing update . . .

I injured my knee and am getting an MRI next Tuesday, so I’m not going to make our ski this Thursday (12/26). Hopefully, I’ll be able to get clearance to get back on the trail shortly thereafter - I’ll keep the group posted!

If others want to get out skiing, please do and feel free to coordinate on this page.

Hey, All! After a bit of feedback from our small group, here’s the planned ski schedule for FVN this winter:

6:00 PM on Thursday nights @ Ariens Nordic Center beginning on Thursday, December 26

As a back-up or additional ski, I’d propose Saturdays at 8:00 at Ariens or Iola Winter Sports Club.

Invite whoever you think is interested and looking forward to skiing with you all!

Hey-o! Now that we have a little snow on the ground, it's time to kick off this little social club and get out skiing!

Who's interested in joining me and setting a weekly day and time to get together at Arien's Nordic? Assuming there's snow and weather's alright, I'm planning to make it out there every week. Also, feel free to invite others to join - the more the merrier.
