Projects at work are going to keep the 29 off the track today. I thought I could balance both last week and honestly neither work or racing were up to my standards. After finishing up some projects this week we’ll be back at the track next week💪🏽👊🏽🏎️. Appreciate all the people that make my program successful.

Punch list is done and the 29 is ready for another Thursday Night. Drove some welds off it the last couple weeks so took it up to Tom Gee Motorsports to get it glued back together. Thanks to the crew for their help. Hammer drops at 6:30🏁🏁

We are beyond excited for what may be the largest number of trucks the Wisconsin Sport Trucks have EVER brought to the track.

6 rookies will battle to win the honors of “Rookie of the Race” Quintin Calmes, Bennett Vandehey, Ron Rauch, Lucas Lytie, Mike Rose and Tyler Wians. This award is given out to the highest finishing rookie of the night.

The format will remain the same from last year - top 16 are locked into the main event through qualifying. From there we will run two LQC (last chance qualifiers) an even heat and an odd heat. The top 2 from each LQC is locked into the main event for a total of 20 truck in the A main.
All the rest of the trucks will be in the B-main. Trucks not running in the LQC will be put into heats 3 and 4.

*Top 10 in points rule. In the case that a driver from the top 10 doesn’t qualify into the show through qualifying or the LQC they will be awarded a provisional. Only one of these will be given if needed. If two or more from the top 10 in points were to need the provisional it would revert back to whoever qualified better.

Mother Nature wins today so let’s rewind a couple of weeks… After almost giving the race away a few times, I managed to pick up my first win! It’s definitely harder than it looks to hold onto the lead when you’ve got a whole field of trucks chasing you down.

Last week, I followed it up with a pair of 3rd-place finishes and, thankfully, not too much damage to the truck.

Turned first laps of the season yesterday during Tech and Practice day at WIR. Truck felt great and Im learning to wheel it with all the offseason adjustments.
