🥋 A SMALL-TOWN ACADEMY, & A BIG-TIME JOURNEY!
When DeSoto Martial Arts opened its doors in Arcadia, we had a dream of building something that would make a real difference in the lives of kids in our community. Malik Kai is becoming a great example of that dream!
After nearly three years of training, competing, learning, winning, and growing, Malik has reached two major milestones through Jiu-Jitsu World League:
🥇 #13 in victories in Florida
🥋 #20 ranked Gray Belt in Florida
Those rankings are special, but they aren’t what we’re most proud of. We’ve watched this young man become more confident and disciplined, improve his grades, learn how to handle wins and losses, and grow into a leader who younger students can look up to. Malik, thank you for putting your trust in Coach Cliff and Professor Tony. And to his family, thank you for believing in our academies Rmnu Desoto Martial Arts/Punta Gorda Martial Arts and for allowing us to play a part in his journey.
To the parents of Arcadia and DeSoto County: imagine what three years of consistency, discipline, positive coaching, and Jiu-Jitsu could do for your child.
