THE RD&G MIDWEST PIPELINE | COMMUNITY POWER-UP FUNDRAISER
"Re-Establishing the Royalty Standard"
We aren't just hosting a tournament; we are building a pipeline of fearless athletes and disciplined leaders. From the 5-year-old learning agility to the 18-year-old preparing for the Varsity stage, this is where Ark City come to compete.
I. THE AGE DIVISIONS & PROGRAM DETAIL
THE PIPELINE PROSPECTS (AGES 5 – 8)
Focus: Core Agility & Fearless Mentality.
Activities: Kickball Tournament, Potato Sack Races, Bear Crawl/Crab Walk Sprints, and 40-Yard "Royal" Dashes.
The Goal: Building the functional strength and the "willingness to go" against older, bigger kids. We start the grind early.
THE CONTENDERS (AGES 9 – 11)
Focus: Transition to Tactical Competition.
Activities: 3v3 Basketball Tournament & Skill Challenges.
The Goal: Mastering speed and physicality. Preparing these athletes for the jump to Middle School sports.
THE ELITE JUNIORS (AGES 12 – 14)
Focus: Junior High Preparation.
Activities: High-Intensity 3v3 and 1v1 Basketball / Open Field Drills.
The Goal: Direct competition against the peers they will face in school. No running from the match-up.
THE VARSITY PIPELINE (AGES 15 – 18)
Focus: The High School Standard.
Activities: Elite 3v3 Basketball / Full-Court Runs / Leadership Mentorship.
The Goal: Establishing the Royalty Standard before the real world. If you’re in High School, you’re in the deep end. Period.
II. TOURNAMENT & GAME RULES
3V3 BASKETBALL (AGES 9 – 18)
Half-Court / Winner’s Ball: Respect the call, play through the contact.
The "Next Man Up" Rule: No age-ducking. You play in your bracket. If you want to play up, you earn it, but you never play down.
Self-Officiated / Board Monitored: We teach the kids to handle their own disputes with respect (The Royalty Standard). RD&G staff will intervene only if the standard isn’t met.
THE JUNIOR AGILITY GAUNTLET (AGES 5 – 8)
Kickball Rules: 3 innings or 15 minutes. Everyone kicks, everyone runs.
The Agility Races: Bear crawls and sack races are timed. We are looking for effort, form, and the "dog" in the kid.
Sportsmanship: Every "Prospect" shakes hands. We win with class and lose with a plan to get better.
III. THE ROYALTY STANDARD (OUR RULES)
NO EXCUSES: We compete in the heat, in the wind, and against whoever is across from us.
ZERO TOLERANCE: Respect the park, respect the elders/mentors, and respect the game. Any "emotional" outbursts or disrespect results in immediate removal.
COMMUNITY OWNERSHIP: This is a non-profit fundraiser for RD&G Midwest Pipeline Inc. 100% of proceeds go to equipment, insurance, and building our own facility.
VERIFIED STATUS: Proof of age (Birth Certificate/School ID) must be available.
IV. THE SATURDAY NIGHT CHILL (ADULTS 18+)
After the sun goes down, the OGs take the park.
Dominoes, Spades, and Chess at the tables.
Adult Open-Run on the courts.
The Goal: A self-policing community environment where the adults lead by example and mentor the youth.
"Ark City, it’s time to level up. The RD&G Midwest Pipeline is officially on the ground. We have the brackets, we have the rules, and we have the vision.
Whether you’re a 5-year-old Prospect or an 18-year-old Varsity Elite, come show us what you’re made of. We’re raising the bar and re-establishing what it means to be 'Royalty' in our community.
