Northwest Aikido

Really enjoyed training with the Michigan crew last Saturday. Thank you for inviting me to teach! I look forward to sharing the mat again soon.

Aikido technique prioritizes putting yourself in a safe place and destabilizing your partner. We work together to study balance, timing, and connection.

Had a great time sharing Aikido with the amazing kids and staff at Aldrin Elementary school. We also enjoyed the presentation from the talented folks at Tsukasa Taiko.

We had a really lovely afternoon New Year’s Party新年会 with dojo members and their families. Really just a lovely group of people.

Absolutely fabulous weekend training with my dear friend John Brinsley Sensei of . As if that wasn’t enough, this seminar was graciously hosted by , which was my home dojo for five years. It was wonderful to be among so many friends including Roo Heins Sensei from and so many others from , Logan Square Aikikai and more. Absolutely love this group.
