Today is the day to visit the Lyon Park Spring Fair. Saturday May 17.

Always the 3rd Saturday in May from 11am to 3pm, the Lyon Park Spring Fair has been enjoyed by people of all ages since 1924!

Our Fair features more than 10 kid focused games, inflatables, face painting, amazing food and a bake sale organized by the Lyon Park Woman's’ Club. Free parking.

Kids can win great prizes by playing games.

Egg hunt is for kids ages 1-2, 3 -6, and 7 - 10. Each age group collects individually.

Plant sale run from 11am until 2pm.

Cupcakes for sale this Friday (Feb 7) and Saturday Feb 8.

We start selling on Friday night at 4pm - till 7pm.
Saturday, 8am till they sell out (by 1pm).

Lyon Park Community Center (LPCC) is looking for an individual or local business to provide a range of cleaning services. Initial contract will run for a six-month period beginning January 1, 2025. The LPCC is a community-owned reception hall at 414 N. Fillmore St, Arlington, Va. The facility is over 4000 sq. ft. with seating for up to 150 guests, a large gourmet kitchen, small galley kitchen and ADA-compliant bathrooms. LPCC hosts 12 to 24 private events per month. Required services include cleaning after events, weekly cleaning, special cleanings, documentation of damage caused at an event, and regular communication with the rental agent. Weekend and nighttime cleanings will be required; cleanings on short-notice will be rare but required. Two walk-through sessions will be held the week of Oct 20-24. Lyon Park Community Center (LPCC) is looking for a rental agent/building manager starting January 1, 2025. The LPCC, an historic, community-owned reception hall at 414 N. Fillmore St, Arlington, Va., hosts 12 to 24 private events per month. It has seating for up to 150 guests, a large gourmet kitchen, small galley kitchen and ADA-compliant bathrooms. Responsibilities will include welcoming prospective renters via email and/or a facility showing, managing rental calendar, handling contracts and payments, greeting renters at the start of their events, maintaining supplies, coordinating with cleaners and maintenance providers, monitoring building access and security systems, and interacting with the LPCC accountant and Board of Governors. A successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays and have reliable transportation to the facility. Proficiency with a computer and online calendars required.
