Member Spotlight: Katherine Canan ✨

Meet Katherine from Kappa! Originally from Rochester, MN and a University of Kansas alum, she now serves as Account Director at a tech company. She also serves as our fabulous Mentorship Program Chair! Katherine organizes our mentorship program and all of the wonderful events that bring our mentors and mentees together.

You can often find her trying a new workout class or a restaurant off her endless list. 🧘‍♀️ She loves being part of our alumnae chapter to connect with other Thetas across the US and hearing about everyone’s Theta experiences and moving to DC! 💛

Sisterhood doesn’t end at graduation. 🖤💛 From career advice to new friendships, our networking and career panel brought together Theta sisters from across the DC area to learn, connect, and support one another. Thank you to everyone who made the evening so meaningful!

Meet Rachel from Delta Kappa! Originally from Thibodaux, LA and a Louisiana State University alum, she now works as Trademark Attorney.

You can often find her at a local farm in the area picking her own (strawberries, blueberries, tulips, sunflowers)! 🌻 She loves being part of our alumnae chapter for all of the fun and unique meetups! She loves that every time she attends everyone is always so nice and welcoming, and the events are always so much fun and a great way to meet other Thetas! 🖤💛

Meet Marybeth from Zeta Tau! Originally from Medford, NJ and a University of Delaware alum, she now serves as Head of Membership for a trade association.

You can often find her spending Sundays at the Dupont Circle Farmers Market 🌿 She loves being part of our alumnae chapter to reconnect with old friends and meet new Thetas along the way! 💛

Meet Sarah from our Alpha Omicron chapter! Originally from Tulsa, OK and a University of Oklahoma grad, Sarah is an Executive Project Manager for a nonprofit — making an impact every day.

Her favorite way to enjoy DC? Long walks around Capitol Hill 🍂 And her favorite part of being a Greater DC Theta? Connecting with Thetas of all generations and backgrounds and building community that spans seasons of life 💛
