As things slowly reopen, taking it slow but steady. Still masked up and keeping an eye on what businesses are doing to disinfect and sanitize their spaces.

Sport&Health Crystal Park....they have initiated temperature checks, limited class sizes (you will need to register via the app for a space), every other machine is unavailable for use like lockers, one way in/out, etc.

For our part, we need stay home if we are sick, wipe down equipment before/after use like we should always....hand sanitizer is in place. You can wear your own mask or purchase one.

The air is being sanitized too...24 hours a day.

Today was our Firs Aquatics Open house, Crystal Park's Frank was helping us like always.

Registration is now open for the Fall l session at Sport & health, located in Crystal City. The session will run from Monday, August 13 through Saturday, September 23, 2018, with both morning and evening classes offered for kid and Adults. There's an early registration discount for programs. $15 off signing up 2 weeks before classes start. $10 off signing up 1 week before classes start.

Tsunami Intrasquad Scrimmage meet:

In order to get swimmers prepped for sprint speed, we will be hosting our Tsunami Intrasquad Scrimmage meet Saturday, August 11 from 5:30-7am, everyone is invited! Warm-ups will be from 5:30-6am with events beginning at 6am sharp. This is a great way to get some times, practice starts, and get race ready for the upcoming short course season. The order of events will be: 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 IM. Pick an event or two (or all events) to get some racing experience. Did I mention? All Tsunami swimmers are invited! The only requirement is that swimmers register with USMS (also required to register for any US Masters Swimming event, the Sprint Classic included). Make sure to register with Sport & Health Tsunami Masters (NAMI). Meet us at the McLean Sport & Health pool, the gate by the pool in the main parking lot will be open.

Get your Red Cross CPR Certification in Sport and health. This is a class that will teach you CPR and how to use an AED. Get certified and learn how to save a life!
