Keep growing and keep shining! ✨

When you shine you inspire everyone around you that they can shine too! Never dull yourself or let your light dim to make others feel better.

There is so much more to love about working out than just wanting to look good...
Working out:
- Strengthens your bones and muscles
- Reduces anxiety and stress
- Provides you with more energy
- Promotes better sleep
- Combats health conditions and diseases

Some reasons to quit drinking that don't involve an issue with alcohol:
- Wanting to loose weight
- Living a healthy lifestyle
- Being more productive
- Remembering important events
- Creating real connection
- Reducing anxiety
- Addressing your real emotions
and that's just to name a few!

Because when you can see and feel that finish line, the road to get there doesn't seem so hard. You got this!

Literally trust your gut. If you are feeling bloated and "off" it could have a whole lot to do with the foods you are eating day in and day out. Don't wait until the new year to put yourself first. You deserve to feel and look good starting right now!!

If the only prayer you said in your whole life was, “thank you,” that would suffice.

Thank you for a life filled with love, good health & gratitude. Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving!

Ps. Don’t sleep on these slouch socks. ⛽️

It's not what you eat between Thanksgiving and Christmas that makes the difference , it's what you eat between Christmas and Thanksgiving that really makes the game-changing difference.

There are 320 odd days the rest of the year. That's what really determines success.

Use these Fitnez tips to enjoy the holiday while maintaining your fitness goals. 💪🏽

Wishing you a Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving!

You are so much more capable of doing hard things then you give yourself credit for and my clients prove that each and every day.
No matter what your goals are, there is a plan for you. Let's work together and help make you feel like the best version of you! Link in bio or message me!

You may not be able to control those around you BUT you can control your reaction to them.
Some tips when you feel stressed:
- Give yourself some alone time
- Focus on taking slow and deep breaths
- Go for a walk or move your body
- Journal or read

The hard days are tough, but YOU ARE TOUGHER!

There is so much strength in owning what or who has hurt you in the past so that you can use those instances as examples to learn and grow.
Allow yourself the space to feel so you can heal.

Let the holiday travel season begin! Make sure that you have a game plan ready to go for how you will stay healthy and fit before and during your trip! I promise you, getting a workout in before you sit for hours is SO worth it! 🙌

Which one will you be??

'Tis the season to say what you need in order to enjoy your holidays this year!

Use these prompts as ways to guide conversations that you need to have in order to set boundaries for yourself and those close to you.

Trust me, it may not be easy to start the conversation, but you'll be so much happier that you did.

In my experience, usually the hard thing is also the right thing to do. And we get good at doing hard things by doing hard things.
Don’t give up, you are worth the struggle. 💛💪🏽
Fall Seven, Rise Eight.

I love it when I get to train with my wellness sister, Leah. We met at her first show and we’ve been friends since. I’ve watched this rockstar turn pro and couldn’t be more proud of the way she carries herself in and out the gym. We taking it to whole another level.

Thanks Mike for a great workout this morning. I am so happy Leah recommended you to be my new coach, I couldn’t be more grateful and pleased with my b***y gains so far.

Let’s go! 💪🏽

We often think we are healed but we simply have put decades worth of bandaids overtop of a wound that needed stitches all along.
It took me starting to write my book to expose the wounds that I thought were healed but were simply under layers of coping mechanisms that weren't beneficial to me or the life I wanted for myself and my family.
Therapy has been a huge part of my healing and I cannot recommend it enough. We all regardless of what trauma we experienced growing up deserve the time to put ourselves first.

A chance to heal so we can grow and create the best life we can for ourselves and those that we love.

I like to sit down and reflect on my sober anniversary. It’s a chance to remind myself about all I’ve been through this past year. All the good and the bad blend together to remind me how incredibly strong I am. That I can tackle everything, this life puts along my path.

This year’s reflection was a tough one for me. I felt myself pushing it off because while I had some incredible highs this year, my lows were low. I miss my friend Jerry. It was a loss I could never have imagined, and I still think about him daily. He was my sober buddy. Not only my coach but a great friend who understood me and how important my sobriety was to me. I miss him dearly, but I know he is beside me always. He guided me through this life that was made all the better by his presence.

I’m grateful for these past three years. The growth. The guidance. The goals I couldn’t have achieved living my old life.

If you ever need someone to talk to about drinking and it’s impact on your life or someone close to you. I’m here. Please message me.

Fall Seven, Rise Eight. 11/11/19

I just celebrated my 3 year sober anniversary and what a year it has been. I've had some of my highest highs and some of my lowest lows. Through it all, I remain grateful. Grateful for this life I get to lead and grateful for the people who have shaped me into the person I am today.
It is because of this gratitude that I get to see each day as a gift. A chance to show up for myself and my family.
When you choose to be grateful, the highs feel higher and the lows don't feel as low.
Fall 7, Rise 8. 11/11/19 💛💪🏽

Each year for my sober anniversary, I like to celebrate with something that either shares or strengthens my sober journey.

My first year, I celebrated by writing a book about my journey and by sharing a video of my sober journey. Please have a look at the link in my bio.

My second year, I launched my SoberStrong company and went to Costa Rica to learn how to surf to have another alcohol-free vacation activity.

This year, I’m excited to announce that I am enrolled in the “This Naked Mind” coaching certification, a year and half-long sober coaching certification to help more people choose alcohol-free.

Each year I am growing, and my intention to serve continues to grow. Stay tuned for more!

All the obstacles, disappointments, failures and missteps lead me on the path that I walk today and for that I am grateful.
The hard times may never get easier, but you get stronger. Each lesson gets added to your playbook of growth and resilience.
Just keep swimming.

I'm 3 years sober today.
3 years of taking my sobriety day by day.
3 years of choosing to put me and my son first.
3 years of showing up so I can be the best version of myself.
My hope is that through my story, my journey, that you realize that you should never ever give up hope. Keep striving for more for yourself. You are capable of everything and anything you put your mind to. If you fall, don't stay down...
Fall 7, Rise 8 11/11✨💪

Don't you dare turn around now! 💪

Keep going because you never know how close you are to getting everything you are working so hard for.

My client, Mandy, wanted to find a nutrition plan that could help support her in her triathlon training. In just 5 weeks she is seeing big results and finding the right fuel to support her as an endurance athlete.
Over my 20+ years in this industry, I know what foods and movements it takes for you to see the results and goals you have for yourself. Each nutrition plan I create is designed with YOU specifically in mind and I'm there along the way for support and accountability.
Let's work together in achieving your goals. Link in bio.

Tis' the season to start putting yourself first...

The highlight reel of my life looked good. Like really good.
In reality, I was struggling with a past that caused me to numb the pain with alcohol. What started off as just "blowing off steam" turned into secretly drinking alone and a period of my life that was so dark, I could barely see my way out.
It took a huge life altering diagnosis to begin my path to sobriety and my journey to making BIG CHANGE in my life.
Learn my story and the steps I took to turn my life around.
Now booking for 2023 speaking events. Link in bio.
Let's grow and make BIG CHANGE together.

I'll never forget when my dad coached my soccer team; I promised that one day if given the opportunity, I would coach my child's soccer team too. I was given that opportunity yesterday and had the most fun coaching my son's soccer team!

I think we might be ready for the World Cup. Just joking, but I definitely will be coaching soccer more for sure.

How was your weekend?

People are in your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. Not everyone was meant to stay forever...and that's ok.
Trust that when someone tells you who they are, you believe them.

You can't keep repeating the same behavior and expect change to happen. You will ride that hamster wheel over and over again until you take the time to learn the lesson you were meant to learn.
Take notes. Learn and Grow from the situation.
Don't let it keep you in detention forever.

It's all helping us grow and learn. Choose to find the lesson in it all. ✨

Whenever you start to talk yourself out of working out or it's just a hard day to stay motivated. Try and reframe your mindset around your workout to be one of gratitude. Gratitude that you GET to move your body and celebrate your health. There are many people who do not have the same.
Try an attitude of gratitude and watch how quickly you will be smiling while putting on your running shoes.

My first book, Unlocking Me, is going to be out in just a few short weeks!

Make sure you don't miss out on getting your copy and pre-order yours today! Link in bio to order.

Some positive affirmations to repeat to yourself before you start your day today:
- I am worthy of good things
- I will be present in every moment
- I love and respect myself deeply
- I am a positive person who has many hopes and dreams
- A beautiful day begins with a positive mindset
- I am limitless and anything is possible
Which affirmation is your favorite from this list?

Remember this as you battle the Halloween temptations….you are sweet enough, skip the candy. 🎃

Pain is a powerful teacher, but so is peace. After each fall, there is a bit of peace you get from not giving up on yourself.
Not everyone will be there for you… and that’s ok because, with every rise and fall, you start learning that you got you and that peace is all you need to move to the next challenge.

Preorder my book, Unlocking Me, here:

Whether you are no longer drinking alcohol or just want to be more mindful of when and what you are drinking, try these healthier swaps for your usual alcohol go-to's:
- Smoothies
- Iced Tea
- Green Juice
- Water/Seltzer Water
- Mocktails
Having alternatives you can reach will help tremendously when trying to break old habits. Soon, you'll prefer the healthier alternatives, trust me!
