Does anyone else look like they’re legitimately falling asleep when they take selfies? 😴

These past few weeks, I have felt SO TIRED! You can ask @frantzenfit I fall asleep literally as soon as I get home from work most days. I’m not sure if it’s the weather 🥵, my schedule, hydration, or what but one things for sure, I need to wake up!

The more time I spend in the gym, the less comfortable I feel outside of workout clothes.

Isn’t that nuts? Most of us, our intention of going to the gym in the first place is to look better and feel more confident outside of the gym.. yet for me personally, I feel the opposite!

When something becomes your comfort zone, going outside of it becomes much less comfortable and even scary, but that’s exactly what you should do it! If something doesn’t challenge you and scare you just a little, then it definitely won’t change you!
.
This is exactly why I made my goal for this summer to spend LESS TIME IN THE GYM and more time out and about, enjoying life! Is that saying I don’t enjoy life at the gym? Absolutely not, but I’ve realized that I’m wayyy to comfortable there so I need to shake things up!

👆🏼get endorphins in my workouts! Whenever I start to view my workouts as something that simply needs to get done, vs something to make me feel good, I know my mood will start to slip 😬

✌🏼talk positively to myself! We all do it “ugh I look gross today” “that pic of me is horrible” “I wish my hair looked better” but we don’t realize how much that becomes a habit and it negatively effects our overall mood! Talking more positively to yourself leads to feeling more positive!

🤟🏼spend more time outdoors (or wherever makes you happy!). I feel 10x happier when I take the pup on longer walks, drink coffee on the balcony, or simply spend more time walking around outside. Last weeks outdoor yoga really helped me reconnect!

Hi! Hello! Good morning! Happy #FitFriday! As someone who works in the fitness industry 7 days a week, it can be hard to find the time or motivation to work on my own fitness goals. Sometimes that’s also why I don’t post on here as much as I used to. After a 12hr day of helping others reach their goals, my lack of personal motivation makes me feel like I have “nothing to show” for myself so I just don’t post.

BUT that’s why I finally realized I have to schedule in time for me and my goals! Which is why I created #fitfriday for myself! Every Friday I train my clients in the morning 6am-10/11am and I help them reach their goals, and then I take the rest of the day for me! Whether that means working on writing a new ebook for @busygirltone , trying out a new fitness class, or simply meditating on my goals, I make sure it’s something that’ll help me feel more empowered in myself and help me keep thriving while helping others!

This strong, amazing woman is in the armed services, she’s a vegan, and she was starting to feel her posture declining and her overall strength not feeling too notch. SO we re-evaluated her nutrition and water habits while increasing strength training and now look at her!

Just 4 weeks later and her posture has improved, she looks and feels stronger AND she crushed her most recent fitness test and finished way above the other women in her age group!

In the next 4 weeks we’ll continue to build strength and take up the intensity to burn some more calories and start revealing those strong abs of hers!

Me. Looking at these rude, entitled insta trainers like...

In the last week I’ve seen such rude behavior coming from all of these online-only insta-coaches and it REALLY bothers me. Comments like
🥵 “women asking me to tone up but not gain muscle, WTF are you going for?!”
🥵“if one more person DMs me a question that they could easily google, I’m going to lose my sh*t!” And the worst
😥“the more desperate a client sounds on email, the longer I take to reply and then I send something passive aggressive like ‘thanks for your patience’”
and YES all of these are things I’ve seen coaches post PUBLICLY on their page/twitter and they still expect people to want to work with them?
.
Lately it seems like the more followers a person has, the more they lose touch with what it was like to be a beginner. The start of any journey isn’t easy, let along a fitness journey. A lot of people seek a coach after exhausting all other options. They’ve tried IT ALL and nothing has worked so they saved up to come to you for help, and you bash them to your 100k followers because your chosen job that you do from your couch annoys you? It honestly just kills me.
.
The moral of my rant here is not to bash other trainers. But instead to give you a little insight. If you’re looking for a trainer, really look into them. If they’re willing to post such rude things online, I guarantee they’ll treat you similarly. Look for those who are uplifting. Those who post positivity and truth, who have clients that rave about how supportive and honest they are, versus how good they look.
