Jodi Hogan, group fitness instructor at Onelife Ballston. Jodi is a Les Mills BODYATTACK, BODYPUMP, & BODYFLOW instructor. She is an AFAA certified group fitness instructor.

Jodi has been teaching group fitness since 2015, both in the DMV and in Colorado Springs. She joined the OneLife Ballston family this past spring.

As an instructor, Jodi loves to help members feel welcome and comfortable in her classes. She enjoys working with participants to help them find joy and strength in their workouts.

Jodi is enthusiastic and energetic, and she believes all people can be successful in her classes with consistency and finding the right intensity for their own workout.

Jodi is an Air Force wife of 16 years and a mother of two kids (ages 11 & 8)and a golden doodle named Molly.

The sky is not the limit. Your mind is.
Annya suffered from an anoxic brain injury after going into cardiac arrest due to an asthma attack back in February of 2022. She flatlined for seven minutes and then was put into a medically induced coma for over 30 days when she was resuscitated to avoid any more harm being done. As a result, both gross and fine motor function have been a challenge but her progress is remarkable. We are so proud of the progress she has been making!
It's more than working out. It teaches you discipline, courage, focus, and patience.

Why Fitness?
I participated in group fitness classes at my gym in Colorado. I relocated to North Carolina and my gym there didn’t offer a ton of classes so I decided to get certified. I started with BODYATTACK and then BODYPUMP. I also have a general group fitness certification.

“I love BODYPUMP! It is a great strength-training workout, a lot of fun and I personally loved the results I have seen!”

My motivation!
When I was in the Air Force, I wasn’t the fastest or the strongest but I never wanted to be “that girl” who easily gave up, especially during physical challenges. I still have that mentality today and on top of that, I really like how being fit and strong feels!

In my bag you will find a fresh shirt, a sports bra and a bottle of body spray. I sweat and I typically always have errands to run after the gym 😂 … better be safe than sorry 😂
