Most summer pools are winding down their seasons this week 😢 along with winding down operations, there is the question of what to do with items in your Lost & Found. Sport Fair has the answer: bring your items (in excellent condition) over to our store. We collect donations for .official to be distributed to those learning to swim! Items should be free of mold/mildew/visible dirt, in a condition where they can be reused or repurposed (great goggles with a broken strap, or straps in great condition with no goggle attached are welcome). Please only bring items that would be appropriate for swim team: goggles, caps, fins, one piece competition-style swimwear, and other swim equipment (please donate toys, “floaties”, bikinis, trunks, and rafts (all in excellent condition) to a local charitable dropoff point- towels and other textiles can go to textile recycling bins in many shopping centers). Thank you so much for keeping “new to others” items from the landfill!! Please note we are closed Monday the 1st but will reopen on Tuesday the 2nd.

Are the contents of your suit drawer swimming out of control because so many older items you no longer need are clogging it? We can help YOU by taking your former practice/tech suits, goggles, caps, equipment, and parkas off your hands! Do some Spring Cleaning and bring items in clean, new and/or gently used condition to Sport Fair any time we are open to put in our donation box for Waves4Change! They are a local organization that distributes items meeting the above criteria to build an inclusive and diverse community so all can have the opportunity to access the benefits of swimming.
Having trouble determining if an item is eligible for donation? If it is in a condition where you would consider giving it to a friend or teammate, please bring it to us. Otherwise, please bring fabric items to textile recycling bins (often seen in many shopping center parking lots) to keep them out of landfills.
