Arvada High School Athletic Boosters

Don't forget that in order to qualify for Booster scholarship as a senior athlete, your memberships must be paid in full by no later than October 1

Annual Plant Sale ends on April 2 (no late orders). Hanging baskets can be ordered through any participating athlete or directly via Athletic Boosters. Baskets are $36 each and will be available for pick up from Elliott Gardens between May 5 and May 31.

Please see the information below. This is an EASY way to earn money for AHS Athletics while helping you and your student(s) save money with a local partner! Be sure to note that you want your $52.80 to go to AHS Athletics when you sign up. This fundraiser is not limited to AHS students and their immediate families, so please forward this information to friends, coworkers and others in our community!

Specific Jeffco schools have been invited to attend this event and AHS is one of them! Please feel free to share with anyone who has a student athlete of any age.

Don't forget to turn in your Booster membership applications and dues by October 1 in order to be eligible for full year membership benefits (ie. Senior scholarship!!)

Please attend the FREE parent/coach workshops being held on August 27 at A-West High School or on August 28 at Columbine High School - 7 to 8:30pm for both. These informative sessions offer valulable development opportunities between parents and coaches, as well as our student athletes and their interactions with parent/coach.

Please join the Jeffco effort to enhance the spirit of sportmanship within our school. Workshops are geared toward High School sports but even those with younger athletes can take advantage of the information offered here. Feel free to pass this information on to other parents!!

Please go to the link below to download your fundraiser order forms for Boosters or your chosen sport team. This fundraiser is available to all athletic teams so if you have students in multiple sports, please have the orders clearly marked according to where the profits should be distributed (ie. basketball, wrestling, track, Boosters, etc.) and return with payment to a coach or the office by no later than January 31. Checks can be made payable to ARVADA HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC BOOSTERS.

Delivery is February 8 in the school cafeteria at 3:00 so please mark your calendars to pick up your orders at this time as the school has no means of holding frozen goods.

Thanks to all who participated - it was fun to hear the bickering over who the supposed winner would be among the ladies...

As with most clubs/sports, AHS Athletic Boosters is being faced with hard choices and shortages of funds for Awards, Banquets and most importantly, Annual Scholarships for qualified athletes. That being said, I am selling tickets for $5 each for this "Christmas Windows" quilt (approx 43 x 47 - suitable for wall hanging or small throw). The winner will be drawn on December 20 and notified by email/facebook and all proceeds will go to AHS Athletic Boosters.
