Loudoun County Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS)
PRCS reaches out to the community through a countywide system of facilities that includes trails, athletic fields, active and passive parks, open space, community, recreation and senior centers, playgrounds, sports complexes, a nature preserve, nature center, fine arts center, indoor and outdoor pools, historic/heritage sites, adult day centers, a catering kitchen facility and administrative offices. Some PRCS activities are also offered at school sites. Programs and services encompass facility planning and development, children’s programs (including licensed preschool, camps and after-school care), sports and recreation, community outreach, aging services, youth services, adaptive recreation, health and fitness, facility maintenance, customer service, and environmental stewardship.

Claude Moore Park Visitor Center closed tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 30. The park will be open during normal hours, and there will be access to the restrooms. The Visitor Center is closing for replacement of the air conditioning unit, and no business or transactions will be conducted at the facility.

New hours at PRCS outdoor pools start today! With the start of the Loudoun County Public Schools schedule, operating hours at the Franklin Park & Lovettsville Community Center outdoor pools will be reduced starting August 23. See page 39 of the Summer Activity Guide for hours.
