Since numerous CLAW athletes are likely to participate in the World Championships, this news affects the timing of our 2026 schedule. We will monitor and hopefully be able to announce plans for the fall in the next few weeks.

United World Wrestling Postpones Senior World Championships - FloWrestling United World Wrestling has announced that the Senior World Championships have been postponed and will move from Bahrain to a new host country.

We wish a speedy recovery to Reece Humphrey of the Enforcers who recently had neck surgery. Tremendous ambassador for the sport and still can get it done on the mat!

Wrestle all styles at one event: CLAW, Folk, Free and Greco. The day begins with a CLAWstyle clinic so wrestlers are familiar with our simple, modified rules. We thank BTS Detroit and Metro Detroit Wrestling Association for including CLAW in this great event.

Some people mistakenly think 2 professional wrestling efforts can’t co-exist. The thinking goes like this. Since nothing in the past has worked, surely two attempts can’t be successful at the same time.

This is faulty thinking. Obviously, serious wrestling fans can follow both. But there’s a factor that’s far more important. Today’s two main efforts aren’t at all similar. Different brands. Different rules. Different league structure. Except for serious wrestling fans, the products largely appeal to different groups of people. The good news is there is an audience for both.

It’s not EITHER/OR.
