New home

*REAL FEELS* Blackfinn is permanently closed. We danced there for 7 years, and the amount of memories and growth and ties that we have made over the years is incredible! Newbie dancers turned into performers, solo people met their partners, divorced people found their peace, loneliness found friendship, insecurities turned to confidence, degrees were earned, babies were made, and so many more life charters of transformation.
Blackfinn represented our home away from home. The place we went when our own homes sometimes weren’t able to ease us.

Once I was told Blackfinn was closing I made the longest list of possible places for us to shift to. There are obvious things on the list like must have floor space, must have electricity, must have parking… but that’s the easy part… I needed a space that FELT good, that was UPLIFTING, that felt emotionally SAFE, that supported this community while also having smooth floors and a/c because damnit our feet & armpits deserve it!
Well I found it and I’m truly thankful to call T’KILA in Leesburg/Lansdowne our new place to dance!

Still the first Tuesday of every month, still 8-11pm, still local loudoun county vibes. I will see you all in just a couple weeks and your support in this change means everything so THANK YOU.
