From sidelined and facing possible surgery to running 85 miles a week pain-free. 🏃♂️💪
Jacob came to us as a D1 cross country and track athlete struggling with a sports hernia. With a personalized training and recovery plan, he avoided surgery, rebuilt his strength, and returned to running better than ever.
“Not just to recover from my injury, but to rebuild strength and improve as an athlete.”
That’s pain to power. ❤️
Thank you, Jacob, for trusting Diana and D Fitness Lab with your journey!
This is what real strength looks like. ❤️
When she first came to D Fitness Lab, walking meant pain, a noticeable limp, dizziness, and trouble with balance. Even running shoes were too uncomfortable, so sandals and flip-flops became the only option.
Now? She’s walking pain-free, confidently wearing running shoes and even RUNNING in them. 💪
Strength isn’t always about lifting heavier. Sometimes it’s about getting back the everyday movements you thought you’d lost. You don’t have to accept pain as your normal.
Watch Diana getting ready for taking on Peru's Salkantay Trek. A trip likes this requires training, building the strength, endurance, and stamina an adventure like this. 💪
From the gym to the track, every workout is prep for this journey. More coming soon.
Meet Maddy! 💪

Her coaching focuses on helping clients break through limits, trust the process, and feel stronger both physically and mentally.
Fitness isn’t just about the results, it’s also made from the journey. ❤️
The knee-over-toes split squat. Benefits:
1. Builds knee strength. Training the knee to travel forward over the toes loads the quads and knee extensors through a larger range of motion.
2. Improves ankle mobility. The forward knee position requires greater dorsiflexion, which can help improve ankle mobility.
3. Strengthens quads + glutes. The deeper range challenges the quads significantly while the glutes and adductors contribute to hip stability.
4. Improves single-leg stability. Each leg works independently, helping address strength and control differences between sides.
5. Improves lower-body mobility. You train strength at longer muscle lengths rather than simply stretching passively.
6. Develops tendon capacity. Gradually loading the tissues around the knee can improve their tolerance to force over time.
⚠️ Knees going over the toes are not inherently bad. ⚠️
Healthy knees are capable of moving well past the toes. The key is gradual loading, good control, and an appropriate range for the individual.
Personal trainers aren’t just trainers. ❤️
We’re coaches.
We’re teachers.
We’re motivators.
We’re accountability partners.
Sometimes, we’re therapists without the therapy license. 😅
We’re the ones who celebrate your small wins when you don’t even realize how big they are.
And sometimes, the biggest transformation isn’t the number on the scale or the weight on the bar.
It’s watching someone who once said, “I can’t,” eventually say, “Look what I can do.” ❤️
To all the trainers who pour their heart into their clients, I see you. ❤️
And to my clients: thank you for trusting me with your journey. 🫶
