Bio and Philosophy

I was born in Pennsylvania and raised in the DC metro area. A sports enthusiast from an early age, I played a variety of competitive sports with basketball and football as my main focus. I continue to play basketball to this day at an elite level. I developed an interest in training at an early age and have been training people for well over thirty years. I have trained young kids through geriatric clients. These people participate at all levels from handicapped through recreational players to professional athletes and bodybuilders. I train people in their homes, in gyms and outdoor settings.
Perhaps my greatest asset as a trainer is my ability to adapt and modify a regimen to each individual client to help them meet their goals in a safe and controlled way. I have extensive training in all aspect of personal training and continue to attend seminars on a regular basis. I believe that fitness can be improved at virtually any age or level and will result in a better quality of life. Some clients benefit from being pushed and others require more nurturing. I work with each individual client to develop a starting point and then adapt the programs to insure that they are enjoyable, varied and that they move the client forward at a rate most comfortable for that client.
Lastly, I believe that fitness encompasses more than exercise. I am willing and able to help clients examine their lifestyles and suggest changes to those who desire help with issues such as nutrition, flexibility etc. Experience has shown that addressing these areas can assist clients in achieving their goals.

Happy Tasty Transformation Twofer Tuesday! So we did our Meal Prep over the weekend, right? Now we have Clean Tasty Healthy meals for the week! We are starting our days with 8ozs of water with Lemon squeezed into it and/or Lemon with Ginger! Then we are having our 1st Tasty Clean Healthy meal of the day. Most likely this meal isn't pre done! Then it's a matter of keeping up with our Meals and Water the rest of the day. This is how we all make our Transformation Goals doing the Week Month and Year! Being it's Twofer Tuesday we should definitely do something at least twice during the course of the day.

Happy Magical Motivational Magnificent Mindset Monday! We don't have to wait until Monday to be Magical Motivational Magnificent and/or to have a Positive Mindset! These are things we can do and I hope we are doing them everyday. Yesterday was the 1st day of the new week! A day to Refresh and Rejuvenate! Now is time the plan in action for the week! I hope you have you Meals, Water, Workouts, Cardio, Recovery and Relaxation planned for the most part! I use to do my cooking for the week on Sundays afternoons and Wednesdays evenings! This is something I need to get back in the groove of doing. I think it definitely helped me with staying on track with the rest of my life! While cooking I found it easier to map out the other components I would need!

Happy Thirsty Thunderous Throwback Thursday! We are getting a wintery mix here in the DMV! I think it worse in Frederick MD, PA, Kentucky, North of Frederick & Southern Va! Be very careful driving in the snow & shovelling! I did start my day with 8ozs of water with Lemon squeezed into it and Ginger! I also had some Honey Ginger Tea that we got from Costco! Today has been a good day so far with both water intake and meals. Remember we don't have to be Loud to be Thunderous! Be Thunderous in our Actions not our voices! Do something Oldschool today like play a card game and/or board game etc!
Between clients I did Chest & Back plus some Cardio! I also shoveled our driveway, walkway & steps! Yes I paced myself! Crush your workouts also!
