đź’Ś LMNTL Field Notes / a recap

This August, may you be delusional as f*ck in all of your endeavors.

May you create what you want to create, spend time with the people you want to spend time with, eat all the foods you want to eat.

May you have everything you need and then some.

Always rooting for you —

Xo,
Leslie & Matt

A lot of people want to host a retreat. Most find out the hard way (my first retreat included!) — after they’ve already paid the venue deposit — that they don’t know how to pull it off without losing money.

I’m hosting a free webinar on August 5 at 5pm CST: How to Plan & Host a Retreat

You’ll leave with a real framework for logistics, how to pick a location that will work for you, and how to price so you’re not footing the bill for someone’s vacation.

Drop a 🏝️and I’ll send you the link.

What an incredible conversation with Margaret Gregory in the LMNTL Club last night. She talked about what it means to become a "true adult" — and the answer wasn't about having it all figured out. It's about being a constant work in progress.

Here are some other highlights:

🔹 Adulthood is flexibility. It's the ability to flow and adapt as life changes — not arriving at some fixed, finished version of yourself.

🔹 Stop comparing yourself to others.

🔹 Forgiveness isn't about the other person. It's about releasing what's taking up space in your heart so goodness can get back in. And remember — everyone is doing the best they can with what they know.

🔹 Face your fears in safe spaces, with people you trust. That's where real growth happens.

🔹 "No" is a complete sentence. Being a true adult means having the confidence to say no to what isn't right for you — and yes only when you mean it.

🔹 Mistakes are part of the path, not a detour from it. Even the most successful people get it wrong half the time. The skill isn't avoiding mistakes — it's knowing how to turn them around.

🔹 Don't forget to play. Keep your inner child alive. Notice the trees in spring. Make time for creativity — even 15 minutes a day counts.

🔹 You can't pour from an empty cup. We can't show up for others if we're depleted.

And what summed it all up best:

"Be kind to yourself — we are a work in progress."

Grateful for this circle of humans choosing to grow on purpose. đź’›

Post-reflections from the LMNTL Club’s June Self-Care Call (where we eventually get to setting goals after we catch up and celebrate together🥳)

We’d love to know, what’s something you’ve learned about yourself in the last couple months?

Hello & welcome to LMNTL!

We're Leslie & Matt - we're coaches, creatives, entrepreneurs, filmmakers, and endurance athletes.

We created LMNTL as a safe space for courageous conversation & personal transformation. All of our work, whether it's 1:1 with a coaching client or creating a website for a new business is about aligning with what feels true to you and expressing it in the world in a sustainable and authentic way.

Right now, we're on the road with the and excited to start working with clients again this July. If you have a project or personal goal you want support with, let us know.

We're in the zone for bringing dreams to real life (seriously, we're here for that delicious-just-outside-your-comfort-zone-growth).

No matter where you are or what you're doing -- we're rooting for you!

We talk a lot about alignment, intention, and building a life that actually reflects what you care about.

And for me, that idea doesn’t stop at travel, business, or creativity — it also shows up in how ideas become real online.

In the same way we’ve built LMNTL through experiments, saying yes, and shaping things as we go, I also help creators and entrepreneurs bring their own ideas into structure inside platforms like Podia and Squarespace through landing pages & full websites.

Sometimes even sitting together in real time making changes and figuring out what actually fits based on the creator's vision.

If you have an idea you're wanting to build online and you feel overwhelmed going for it alone, send me a message or visit the link in bio to explore how I could support you.

A very important environment: our social environment.

Our free time, unplanned time, our committed time.

What’s on your calendar that’s a true “yes” and what’s on the calendar that you’re secretly dreading?

Full permission to cancel anything that’s not a true “yes” (CANCEL, not reschedule).

Life’s too short to do sh*t you don’t want to do.

And if you need someone in your corner to support you doing what you want to do, we got you.

Hi, we're Leslie & Matt!

Together, we're LMNTL.

We believe living in your elemental nature means living a life that feels wildly & deliciously yours.

Since the path towards living a life that feels most-aligned isn't well traversed, known, and can involve a lot of changes, we're there to support you along the way.

If you're feeling called to 1:1 work, we got you. Prefer the community vibe? The LMNTL Club is it. Like adventure and travel? Join the email list to be the first to know about our next retreat.

PS - you'll have a lot of fun at your next photoshoot if you get close ups done. KFP always bringing the joy!
