Just wanted to tell all the guys who are calling the middle school games that I really appreciate the job they do for us. I know it's been a trying year with some of the inexperienced coaches & idiot fans giving some of our veteran officials a hard time. I have been in touch with the athletic directors and let them know that they are more than welcome to find their own umpires. But I did want to share this with you to let you know that those coaches and fans are certainly in the minority and a lot of people really do appreciate the work that you guys do.. This was sent to me from our USA Softball of NC Commissioner. There are plenty of parents whose kids you call ball games for feel the same way. We rarely hear from them but I guarantee they are the silent majority. Thanks again guys! You guys are the reason these kids can play real games.

The umpires who have worked the Game Day USA tournaments in Charleston and the NC GameOn events in Asheville have been outstanding this year. We have the best crew around and y'all prove it week after week!
One more at Shipyard Park in a couple of weeks. Fifteen states represented in June event. July will be even hotter!

Long overdue shout out to all the guys who did an outstanding job on recent tournaments.. USSSA Softball at Big League Camp, Game Day USA events at Bob Lewis Ballpark & Shipyard Park. It was very nice to pick up some quality officials in Charleston! Those guys really helped make that tournament a huge success.
