Ashville Youth Wrestling

What an incredible second season!

We kicked things off with 49 kids, and what a journey it has been. Every single wrestler brought something special to this team, and we made lasting memories with each of them.

As a team, we finished 2nd at Regionals, crowned multiple Regional Champions, and had several State placers. We couldn’t be more proud of what these athletes accomplished on the mat.

But the greatest victory wasn’t the medals — it was watching our wrestlers grow. Seeing them respond under pressure, push through adversity, and develop confidence and toughness over the course of the season was something special.

A huge thank you to all of our parents for your support, encouragement, and commitment throughout the year. We truly couldn’t do this without you.

Two big tournaments this pass week. Our kids competed with confidence, discipline, and grit. Hard work showed up when it mattered, and the results followed. Proud of how our wrestlers represented Ashville—now we stay hungry and keep working. 🤼‍♂️💪

Friday night, we took 27 Beginners to Walter Wellborn with 14 medaling!

Saturday Morning, we took all 48 Wrestlers to the Stronghold Gladiator, Battle for the Helmet with over 500 wrestlers competing and medaled 16!

We had our first beginner tournament today.
We took 26 beginners and 17 medaled!
