The Hannah Knight Award and Scholarship honors a player who embodies passion, leadership, and a commitment to growing the game of women’s hockey. Named after Hannah Knight, founder of the UGA Women’s Hockey team, this award celebrates those who lead by example both on and off the ice.

This year, we proudly recognize Anne Patrick—Anne has only played for 2 years, she served on the player board as vice president of compliance, she was an assistant captain, and she’s very positive and welcoming to everyone

We are closing out the season with lots to be proud of! Congratulations to this season’s award winners!🎉

Offensive MVP (Paige Oukes): Player who gets results on the offensive end of the ice through her extra effort and determination

Defensive MVP (Shae Hudec): Player who demonstrates the greatest all-around ability at the defensive position

Most Improved (Sunny Yang): Player who has shown the most improvement during the season through hard work and determination

Coaches Award (Dana Stott): Player who exemplifies the core values of teamwork, integrity, and encouragement

Sportsmanship Award (Ashley Ruoff): Player whose conduct and attitude are always in pursuit of fairness, graciousness, and respect

Spirit Award (Anne Patrick): A player who celebrates extraordinary enthusiasm through exceptional teamwork

The All Star Challenge will take place April 17-19.
