Triple Threat is the power of three generations coming to life on the track. Known for years simply as JD, the name now marks a new era built on legacy, horsepower, and heart. Our family’s passion for pulling began in 1980 with JR, a diesel-powered Allis Chalmers. That passion grew into a dream of running an alcohol-powered John Deere — and today, that dream roars down the track as Triple Threat, built to hook hard, run fast, and leave nothing behind but flying dirt and a crowd on their feet.

Cody Haney and the Triple Threat take home the win in the Light Super Stock Tractor class on Friday night in Huntland, TN.

Cody drove Triple Threat to a 337-foot pass and took home the win last night! Unfortunately, another oil leak caused some flames at the end of the run, so it’s back to the shop to track down the issue.
Now we’re watching the weather and hoping Huntland gets a break from the rain.
Cody also climbed back on JR for the first time in a few years. The McDaniels have done a great job taking over JR and keeping it out on the track, as it’s just too much for us to campaign two tractors. With the McDaniels having a commitment Saturday night, Cody got the opportunity to get back in the seat and brought home an 8th place finish. He said it definitely felt a little strange being back behind the wheel of a smoker after all this time.
Cody took Triple Threat 299 feet down the track for a 4th place finish. He got a little crooked on the track, but thankfully everything stayed together just fighting a few issues.
We also want to give a special thank you to Dakota Richardson for staying and helping get Triple Threat back on the track Saturday night. Having him there to work alongside Cody and serve as his crewmate for the evening meant a lot, and we truly appreciate his help.

Triple Threat made a strong pass of 354 feet, but after the sled was reset, an oil issue kept us from making a second pass.
Hoping to get everything fixed up and be back on the track tomorrow night in Ardmore.

Couldn’t have asked for a better start. First hook of the season, first time in a while we’ve been able to be ready on time, and Cody went 345 for the win.
