My 1 hour of Ramzan Workout Routine
3 km running + abs workout
(1 hour before iftar)
Abs workout: 100 reps horizontal crunches, 100 reps bent over crunches, 50 reps leg raises, 50 reps leg folds, 2 minutes elbow plank, 2 minutes bent plank on hands, 2 minutes half-sit, 2 minutes of leg raise hold.
Note: pecs become more clear and bulging during fasting as the fats get metabolized quickly making those inner cuts prominent. so for those who look for getting those 6 pecs, this is the best time.
PS: 3 km running can be modified by reducing the distance depending upon your water retention time and your capacity to withstand that starvation condition near iftar time.
Getting adequate sleep (7-8 hours) at night speeds up the metabolic activities that help reducing weight faster.
Similar is the case with gaining muscle mass, for those who grind more and more at the gym but do not take proper sleep.
Nature's way will always aid you against all odds. πͺπ
Note for those training for reducing body fats:
Starvation is a key to an increase in body fats. It will lead to no less than a 2 times increase in weight as compared to the increase in body weight while eating voraciously.
The scientific reason behind an increase an increase in body fats during starvation is linked to an enzyme that keeps a check on external source of energy. As soon as it recognizes diminished supply of external source of energy, it starts converting cell's own amino acids to adipose tissues for future use irrespective of what's already saved.
So, for a healthy lifestyle and reducing weight fast, meals should be planned in a sequence of 5 meals a day.
