🥵 Tip Tuesday - Strategic Timing

Although it may be a little too late to make use of this tip today, today’s weather is the perfect example for how to use strategic timing to still get your run in when the heat index gets unbearable 🌡️

Run during cooler parts of the day, such as early morning or late evening, to avoid peak heat and UV exposure. Adjust your pace and expectations—heat increases perceived effort, so slow down and focus on effort rather than speed. Shorten your run if necessary and listen to your body to prevent heat exhaustion. Are you an early morning or late evening strategic summer runner?
